How early can non-campers arrive on the property?
Seth Stroika June 10, 2023 at 12:23am
No assignment for me for some reason but my name is up there and I will assume it is Hole 10
John Etten June 9, 2023 at 10:22pm
Yeah, did not get email, did see hole assigned on PDGA, so all good for now...
Anthony Hammerschmith June 8, 2023 at 10:19pm
Please check your emails. The player email that went out may have gone to a junk box and you may not have seen it. I will update the “about” section.
Mark Hauser June 8, 2023 at 7:07pm
Very strongly suggest that if you make last-minute changes to Course’s schedule that it be done also on Disc Golf, Scene comments because an email from an unknown sender often does not escape the junk folder!

Callie, could you give us the access code for the PDGA scoring so we can get set up before we get there. I really don’t feel like paying $10 just to keep score for Wi-Fi there. I realize it might be the night before as everything needs to be finalized for holes. Player
MH23. Cards are up so if you want to start this in town you are more than happy to but we will have paper cards on site and do the shuffling old school this weekend. Scores will be updated by me after each day online.

What are the camping fees?
Thanks
To my knowledge, it’s $20/night. Bob might be able to jump on here and confirm.
There are no need for reservations, for all camping is reserved for those coming to the event, you just have to show up and pay when you arrive, no need to make reservations. For those who are arriving on Friday we do ask that they arrive before 6 PM so we are not out all evening and night directing ... more

Hey there are we good to have caddy with us and stay we’re we are camping ? Thanks for your time and effort
You are more than welcome to have a caddy with you. They still need to pay the $5 for parking and the camping costs to Hornings.

Anthony and Callie - If you haven't been to Meadow Ridge lately there are a couple things I wanted to bring to your attention: There is a dead tree hanging over the end of 7's tee pad. It's leaning on a little tree and that's all that's keeping it up, pretty sketch. You should take a look for sure. The other thing is the grass in the little meadow on hole 9 is about hip high, hopefully Bob can get it mowed.
I will be working on both this week, neighbors next door have been logging and a tree fell over the property line, and that's the last section to mow!
Hi Anthony, Called yesterday, need a call back on a couple questions, business 503-647-2920
Thanks Bob. That logging sure changed the backdrop on holes 4 and 6!

I did get signed up for Hideout. The schedule never showed the June dates when signing up.
dragon bob May 21, 2023 at 2:28pm
I can’t sign up for Masters Hideout. When I go to register I only get masters in April and May, no June Hideout.
Hey Bob, I think the dates you see are when those registrations open, just go ahead and sign up!
Anthony Hammerschmith May 14, 2023 at 11:26pm
We are within the 30 day withdrawal/refund policy. Please know that refunds will be provided, minus the $10 handling fee, only if your spot is filled from a waitlister. Thank you.

@anthony Just want to confirm, this is being updated to just Saturday / Sunday correct?
Steve Boveri April 27, 2023 at 6:59pm
Since this is a MASTERS event...What's the likelihood of getting us off on Meadows in the morning and not in the heat of the afternoon?! You'll see more fluid movement on that course if we're not already spent from a morning round, just saying....Thanx
I understand the situation. Sadly, the higher rated groups usually go up on Meadows first so they can finish up there (historically). We are keeping with that fashion. Most AM divisions usually have had to play Meadows second round (historically). I know I’ve had my fair share of second round ... more

If this were a two day with two rounds one day and one round Sunday it may have better traction. It’s hard to take a day off to play a round Friday knowing that Saturday will be canyon and maybe be two hours of golf. If it was changed to a two day, would get more people signing up.
In addition, a three day event turns into nearly a week if you're not local as you need to come and preview the courses. That's more what you'd expect from some of the bigger A Tier events, not a B tier..
After reading these comments I agree with both Jeb and Rad. Can't imagine what that would take to change somthing like that in such a short window.. ? Probably not ?
Maybe use Friday as an open practice day still utilizes the day with campers arriving etc

Camping for tournaments:
There are no need for reservations, for all camping is reserved for those coming to the event, you just have to show up and pay when you arrive, no need to make reservations. For those who are arriving on Friday we do ask that they arrive before 6 PM so we are not out all evening and night directing campers. Camping fees ($12 per night) do go towards disc golf noon to noon, so if you are camping Friday, Saturday and leaving Sunday afternoon then costs would be $12 for ...

Did this course schedule just update? Cause I coulda swore am50 was playing meadows 1x canyon x 2? Now it is Canyons x 3 ?
Just gonna retract my comment I think we shoulda done canyons 3x lol
We all had are issues up on Meadows, for sure. Glad it ended up just the one round for the day with Meadows
jim palmer April 14, 2023 at 10:58pm
Are we getting two t shirts or paying for it and not included in the players pack ?
Jim, the shirt on the registration is a $20 add-on to your players pack. We will also have these on site if you’d like to buy one. If you don’t want one you can chose “no selection” and continue with registration.

U know I love you Anthony, so obviously my comment has zero to do w you… but how can these huge tournaments go on at Horning’s, Canyons specifically, with the garbage baskets ?!? The owner gets tons of money off of us, just from parking… it is (well over) due time for the awesome canyons course to get up to speed w the growth of the sport. It is the only reason I’m not signed up! Cool nostalgic baskets but not for Pdga events imho
Much love to you too Jon!! Yes, the baskets have always been a spot of conversation. We are currently working with the owners to place 18 Innova disc catchers in place of the current Canyon layout (temp bases). We don’t see any issues and it won’t change the course in any way other than the baskets. Highlands course would stay with the Hornings baskets.
Anthony, will the disc catchers be in Friday for a practice round?
Randy Junttonen April 12, 2023 at 5:35pm
Any camping suggestions?
You should be able to camp right there at Horning's. Check Hornings website and inquire with Bob.
