Hey everyone welcome to the Lost Valley Open 2022

Tournament will be held over 2 days. One round each day, tee times in intervals of 12 minutes

Spectators are welcome but we please ask you to abide by the pa social distance regulations that are set in place for our state/county

We ask that you please not show up to the course more than 45 minutes before your tee time to avoid large gatherings as it is frowned upon in our current situation

Scoring will be done through the pdga online live scoring

We are getting closer and closer.
To be in good form, here are some updates for the LVO 2022:
Player packs are going to be decent. We will have the following discs. Vapor Essence, Neo Links, and a Birdie Marvel. The Jersey design is finalized and order has been placed. We will have a bunch of swag including some patches and other goodies.

We will have water stations and Pop-Ups out on the course. We will not be providing food this year. Please feel free to bring anything you like to make your own feast. The Trolley Barn will be open and ready to feed anyone that wants to eat before or after your round.

We have a HUGE ace-pot supplied by Top Link Disc Golf. There will be a par 3 that we will deem the Ace Hole. $2000.00 dollars to anyone that hits it.

(I’m thinking of moving hole 1’s Tournament Tee (usually 18) to the center of the Pines in the shade, and having the basket in the short pin. It would be about a 300 ft shot.)

*We still need Hole Sponsors* (The Jerseys were expensive!!)
If you have sponsored a Hole in the past, it would be great if you could keep the tradition going.

Lost Valley Open 2022:

This is why the tournament is called the Lost Valley Open presented by Discmania.

The area of Southeastern Pennsylvania where we have AGA Farms was once occupied by the Unami Indian tribe. It then was taken over by the Lenape Tribe. Obviously we know what happened next with the advancement of culture from Europe to the colonial United States.

In the 1960’s 250 families were forced to surrender their homes to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under the right of eminent domain. The state bought 5,286 acres of what was known as the Tohickon Valley and surrounding Bucks County areas to build the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon and the surrounding Nockamixon State Park.

Most people think it’s a natural lake, but don’t realize that hundreds of families lost their homes to build it. The lake was made by damming three water sources in the Valley - the Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run and Haycock Run. It was part of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plan for the Delaware River Basin to create a watershed and recreation area close to Philadelphia.

AGA is a Preserved farm on the edge of where the Valley was overtaken. The Farm has been a staple in the community supplying Pumpkins and Christmas Trees for years. It has been 6 years since we started designing and building the Disc Golf course at AGA. We are proud to be hosting the 5th annual event.
