Fam, let's get ready for some disc golf!
Player packs have been ordered, so if you sign up on the wait list we can not guarantee you will receive the correct size shirt but you will still receive the entire player pack none the less. We have had several people request refunds due to conflicts in their schedule so if you are interested in playing, a spot may come available!
We are excited to announce that Dynamic Discs will be sponsoring player packs for all amateur divisions. Also the City of Sanderville has backed the Linton Park Open with $2500 added cash for open divisions!
Amateur player packs will include
- Trooper Back pack
-Custom print dri-fit polo
-Custom stamped disc
PLAYERS PARTY!!!! Come out and celebrate Cinco De Mayo with us Saturday night down town on the town square from 6-10pm ... BYOB, live music, corn hole, food vendors and much more
Camping for those interested will be made available less than 1/4 mile from the course.
Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Marcella's Bar and Grill will be giving all players 5%-10% off dinner Saturday night.
A 10% discount is being applied to all disc golfers on May 4th and 5th at Quality inn and suits in Sandersville, located about 2 miles from the course. You must call to make the reservation and tell them you are playing in the disc golf tournament to receive the discount. # (478) 553-1414

Thanks to Dynamic Discs and the amazing players pack they have hooked us up with, we have decided to do Payouts (gift certificates) to first through third places in each division along with a trophy to first place in each division containing five or more players. This years players pack is valued at over $100 including a home cooked meal for lunch on Saturday. We will also be doing $2 CTP'S as well as $3 ace pot.
The gift certificates will be from one of our local shops, Deep River Outfitters, who will be running our pro shop stocked with discs, T-shirts, hats and other items. If you do not wish to use your gift certificate day of, Deep River also has an online store so that you can redeem your winnings at a later date.
This event will be a ratings based, "True Amateur" Event: True Amateur is the designation used by the Professional Disc Golf Association in reference to those amateur events, or the amateur portion of an event, which promote that true spirit of amateur athletics by presenting only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. Instead, all players in the event receive equal value through their tournament experience due to the tournament amenities that are provided, which includes a larger than normal Player's Package.
