Lex Get An Ace Discraft Ace Race
About this tournament
Discraft Ace Race 2024 is BACK!
October 12th, 1:00pm @River Hill
Event is simple!
Rules of play
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package. Only one throw per player per hole. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces and "M" for Metal hits.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. Players keep their scorecards for round two, using the next line on the card to record the round. The player with the most aces after 36 holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tiebreaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then held to determine the event winner.
Course layout
Holes are generally between 100 and 200 feet (31 to 77 meters). Shorter holes are fine, since more aces hit means more fun. We will use a similar layout to the Putter Explosion.
Format
Two rounds of 18 holes, one throw per hole per player.
Event will be capped once player packs have been ordered (roughly 2 weekends before event date)
Grand prizes will be supplied for 1st and 2nd place finishers.
1st place prize: 5 discs, and a trophy disc.
2nd place prize: 3 discs.
More Prizes based on number of Entries (Top 2 Prizes are rewarded based on all scores)
