CHECK IN AND DRAW YOUR CHARACTER CARD:
– Arrive at 59 Boulder Ln to check in and draw your assigned character no later than 9am.
– The character you draw determines the powers you will be able to use against your cardmates.
– Players will keep the character card they draw at check-in for both rounds. This gives everyone a chance to learn their character and maximize their abilities for round 2!9:30am - 12:00pm
LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!
– Players will be organized into cards of 4 and will proceed to their assigned starting holes around 9:00am
– Shotgun start around 9:15-9:30am1:30pm - 4:00pm
LUNCH BREAK & BEGIN ROUND TWO:
– 1 hour lunch break begins once all cards have completed and entered scores for round 1
– 30 min. for players to receive new scorecards and proceed to starting holes
– Shotgun start around 1:30pm4:00pm - 4:30pm
AWARD CEREMONY:
– Winners announced with cash prizes distributed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers
– Several CTP prizes available during both rounds

About this tournament
Please join us for one of the first official Legends of the Chains tournaments, hosted by two of its co-founders (Matt and Lizzie Mullen)!

WHERE: Mullen Rock DGC (59 Boulder Ln. Mansfield Center, CT 06250)
ENTRY FEE: $50
FORMAT: 2-rounds of Legends of the Chains (Singles, random character draw)
CHECK IN: 8am-9am (Shotgun start at 9:30am)
HOW IT WORKS:
– This battle will be a 2-round singles competition following the stroke play format/rules of Legends of the Chains.
– Players WILL NOT know their character beforehand.
– Upon check-in, each player will select 1 Character Card at random.
– The character you select determines the Casual and Unchained powers you will be able to use during each round against your cardmates.
– Players will keep the same character for both rounds.

HANDICAPS & SCORING:
Since there are no divisions for this event, handicap strokes will be assessed as follows:
– All female participants will receive a -2 stroke advantage at the start of each round.
– All participants under 16 and over 60 years of age will receive -1 stroke per round.
Note: This means a female player over 60 years old will receive -3 strokes per round.
PRIZE POOL & PAYOUTS:
The total prize pool will start with a $100 seed provided by Legends of the Chains and will increase by $5 for each registered player. Trophy for the winner TBD, but payouts will be distributed to the top 3 finishers with the lowest total strokes after both rounds:
– 1st Place: 50% of the total prize pool
– 2nd Place: 30% of the total prize pool
– 3rd Place: 20% of the total prize pool
PLAYER PACKS INCLUDE (approx. $50 in value):
– 1 LotC starter pack (1st edition)
– 1 custom foil-stamped LotC disc (JK Aviar, R-Pro Pig, Halo Star Roc3, Star Leopard, Halo Star Beast)
– 2 all-new Signature Series cards plus several new "bonus" character cards
