About this tournament
Please note: You MUST be a PDGA member to compete in the Amateur State Championships as it is an A tier. You will not be able to play in the event unless your PDGA membership is current.
The $110 entry fee includes: the $20 fee for the LCQ and the $90 registration fee for the Amateur Disc Golf State Championships. If you find yourself in a situation, that you played in the LCQ and you did not qualify for any division and you are not playing in the event, the $90 will be refunded to you within 48 hours.
This event will NOT have walk up/ day of registration.
YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE. NO EXCEPTIONS. This will allow for us to know final pool numbers for everyone and possibly save you an unneeded round if your pool does not have to play LCQ due to more spots being available that spots needed.
LCQ Tees at 11am, Thursday August 29st
Layout: West Shore Shorts 4-10, 12, 14-15, 17-24. Par 54
The best scores in each division win all remaining/unclaimed spots in that division. All players who play Qualifier MAY NOT make it into the State Championship Tournament.
In the event that a Pool with mixed divisions has to play the Last Chance Qualifier, the available spots in the Championship will be divided proportionally based on divisional registration for LCQ.
If the pool you are registered for in LCQ and your division does not need to play (there are less players registered in the LCQ than spots remaining), you will be contacted after the close of registration on August 26th with instructions.
If the division/pool you are registered for in LCQ fills in the State Championships before close of LCQ registration, you will be given a choice to move to a different division or be refunded.
If your pool/division does not have to play, LCQ reg is not refundable.
There are not any payouts for event. LCQ is only to earn your way into the championship without having a berth prior.

We will be playing 3 rounds of 18 Holes over the 3 days. 1 round of play with tee times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday Tee Times will be posted no later than Thursday at 5pm.
If you have registered for the event and you have to change divisions due to your rating, please make any changes that are needed yourself. You can edit your division up until when registration closes. Under no circumstances will you be allowed to play in a division that you are no longer eligible for. Additionally, even if the division that you needed to move into is full, you will be allowed to move into that division, overfilling the pool.

It was requested last year that we create a new pool for our oldest players in this event to help create the most easily playable event as possible. Pool E has been created to honor this request. Pool E is playing with the other assigned divisions to that course on that day. They will either be assigned the first or last tee times of the day.
Player package pick up will be following your first round at your course.
This event has once again partnered with Disc Golf for a Cause, A Michigan based 501c(3) geared toward organizing disc golfers to make a difference in their communities. We do this by organizing volunteer actions on and off the course, hosting and supporting disc golf related charity events, and monthly giveaways to raise funds for disc golfers in need or other organizations that are improving their communities. Disc Golf For a Cause is here to facilitate the caring and supportive nature that are our disc golfers!

We follow PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawals & Refunds for all registered players:
Prior to July 30th. 100% Refund minus $10 handling fee and any DGS/PayPal fees.
Prior to August 15th. 100% Refund minus $10 handling fee and any DGS/PayPal fees if spot in event is filled by another player, 50% refund if it is not.
After August 15th. 100% Refund minus $10 handling fee and any DGS/PayPal fees if spot in event is filled by another player, 25% refund if it is not.
*After August 29th, no refunds will be issued.
We DO NOT follow PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 Withdrawls & Refunds for Waitlisted Players (we will provide a full refund and not keep any fees).
Refunds will be issued for all players still on the waitlist at 8pm on August 30th.
Please do not come to the event as the field has been locked. No exceptions will be made. If you do not get get into the event via the waitlist, we issue a full refund. You will get a 100% refund minus any DGS/PayPal fees.
Standard Registration Closes 8/23/23. No divisional changes will be allowed after this time.
