About this tournament

This is the Lake Linden stop on the Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour for 2023. Play will be singles format, stroke play across two rounds of 18 holes.
This event is a stop on the 2023 Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour - KDGT. Players will accrue tour points based on their finishing place on the leader board. These points will be tallied at the end of the season following the six tour events. The top 32 players by points standing will be invited to a tour championship held Saturday and Sunday, 30SEP - 01OCT 2023 at Constellation Farmstead.
NOTE: You DO NOT need to have plans to play the other KDGT tour stops to participate in this tournament. This functions as a stand-alone tournament with its own prizes but is also part of a larger series.
Please arrive promptly: 11AM is the beginning of the players meeting, so arrive before then for check-in. Please dress for any weather. Bring a water bottle. Please follow all Lake Linden Village Park property policies. Alcohol, cannabis and smoke-producing tobacco products will not be permitted on the course during play. This will not be a controlled course. There may be other players on the course during the event. Please be courteous to them, allowing them to play through if appropriate or politely request to play through them if the situation dictates.
Your entry fee breaks down as follows:
$5 - added cash for KDGT Championship
$5 - greens fee to be donated to the village parks and recreation department
$10 - "funny money" for non-cash prizes for payout, putting game, CTP
$20 - cash prizes for this tournament.
The breakdown for cash payout is as follows:
5th - 5% cash pool
4th - 5% cash pool
3rd - 10% cash pool
2nd - 30% cash pool
1st - 50% cash pool
Payouts beyond 5th place will be in "funny money" only. Payout amounts and number of payout places will be determined on the day of the tournament and will be based on the number of participants.
Tie breaks for prizes and tour points will be decided by a putt off at the practice basket until a winner is decided.
A putting game will be set up on the practice basket to be completed before the beginning of round two. Round two will feature card CTP.
