Agreed Roger, late cancelation and we are expected to help eat the expenses of an event we don't get to play. Definitely not all the fault of the staff, but I am disappointed at how it's being handled.

Jon Braidman   January 6, 2021 at 5:33am

The hope was that the order would be lifted this week. You will get everything back except $10 which is the cost of players pack items , signs, trophies, etc. You still get your players pack as well. If it had been cancelled a month ago those costs would still be sunk. If you truly have a hardship, ... more

Very unhappy to see the email that it has been cancelled. Private business, social distance by nature for the sport, responsible players. Poor timing with only a few days before. Those who got accommodations to stay, planned travel, and it’s cancelled.

It’s an unusual/unfortunate time. I still appreciate the efforts to try and make it happen. Stay safe

Case Conover   January 5, 2021 at 7:35pm

Agree with Mike. A LOT of effort went into planning this... trophies and discs and shirts were made, sponsors were brought in, etc. For the second year in a row. Thank you Scott and team for all that effort. In the end, local and PDGA regulations are forcing it to fold. Look forward to playing hills and bay in a post-pandemic world. Stay safe y’all.

Color me shocked that there hasn't been an MA1 withdrawal since mid December, yet every other division has tons of movement happening. Haha I guess it's just the way it goes sometimes.

What time are the start times for Saturday and Sunday?

Roger Vartabedian   January 5, 2021 at 2:52am

Tee times on https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/47826

Scott Manning    January 4, 2021 at 9:43pm

I just withdrew my waitlist spot AM50 - I didn't realize the start time was 8am. I was hoping for a bit later in the day. I was way down on waitlist so my guess is it won't be a big deal to withdraw. Pretty sure I requested REFUND accurately but this is the message I received - "Please sign in as an authorized tournament staff member to issue a refund". Thank you for all the great work you guys do! Maybe see you next year! Have fun!!

We'll take care of it, thanks

I am wait listed for amateur intermediate 21 on the list but 9th in the division to get in and I am not sure if I will get in. If i do now will i automatically be refunded or do I have to backout before the 6th to receive a refund? Side note, Since my waitlist number is 21 do I have to wait for 20 people to get in or just the 8 ahead of me in my division? Sorry for all thw questions its my first time trying to get into a tourney.

Scott Riley   January 4, 2021 at 5:15am

You are 9th in line for any withdrawals in your division. Refunds to the waitlisters that do not get in are automatic.

Roger Vartabedian    January 3, 2021 at 11:27pm

I see tee times posted on PDGA page. Are these likely to change or will they remain?

Jesse Miller   January 3, 2021 at 11:36pm

these are set

Roger Vartabedian   January 4, 2021 at 1:36am

Thank you

Dane DeMattei    January 3, 2021 at 1:15am

I am on the waiting list for the AM50 and am wondering when I might know if I am getting into the tournament or not? Will I be notified? Should I just show up the day of the tournament? What about refund if I don't get in? Any help I appreciate as I really hope to be able to play next weekend.

Scott Riley   January 3, 2021 at 1:23am

Looks like you are first in line for MA50, so if there is a WD in MA50, you will be in. At this time, we will not be adding players off the waitlist after Friday Jan. 8th

Dane DeMattei   January 3, 2021 at 5:00pm

So by Friday I will know if I am in or not? Will I get a refund if I don't get added?

Scott Riley   January 3, 2021 at 6:38pm

Correct.

Will the lake course be available to play as a practice area?

Scott Riley   January 3, 2021 at 1:24am

Only if the Lake course is not busy and tournament players stay out of the way of paid golfers and disc golfers on the Lake course

Ryan Dickson    December 30, 2020 at 2:03am

Just curious what course MPO will be playing first and time frames to start for tee times. Trying to decide if I would like to find a hotel and or drive home each day thanks!!

Hey there, looking at MA1, says there is 100 out of 104 registered. I am second on the MA1 waitlist, so just checking to see what the likelihood of getting in is

Just curious, how come it says 100 out of 104 registered? It appears that there is 4 spots because of that

Scott Riley   December 28, 2020 at 9:15pm

Not sure.

Danny Kerfeld   December 28, 2020 at 9:52pm

Those 4 spots are the junior division

Steve Hitchcock    December 26, 2020 at 5:42am

Is there Any possibility of a few extra players from ma2 being able to play in the event since there are so many on the waitlist?

Scott Riley   December 26, 2020 at 6:04pm

Division caps are unlikely to change.

Jacob Vega    December 23, 2020 at 5:43pm

is there any new information about tee times between the 4th and 8th? is that something we're going to have to call ahead of time and book?

Scott Riley   December 24, 2020 at 4:28am

We are still finalizing practice rounds, but they only be available will be after 1 PM on Thursday and Friday.

Scott Riley   December 25, 2020 at 12:08am

Email coming tonight. We are holding a drawing for practice rounds. Please choose all time slots you will be available.

Ryan Dickson    December 21, 2020 at 3:10am

What course are we playing?

Peter Ward   December 22, 2020 at 9:24pm

Bay and Hills... To my knowledge, not playing on the existing course, unless there's a playoff etc

Talia Delanoy    December 13, 2020 at 8:14pm

Is a player allowed to have a caddy?

Mike Miller   December 13, 2020 at 9:14pm

if from the same household, yes. they also need to wear a mask the entire round.

Serenity Madison    December 10, 2020 at 10:12pm

I have a question regarding the special discs available to purchase. Are there lighter weights available, say for the Shryke? I'm interested in purchasing but would like a disc that I don't have to give to my husband to throw :) Also, are the shirts in the players package drifit? Or are the long sleeve option to purchase separately? Thank you!

Thank you Jesse! I was hoping for 165-168 range but would be happy with anything 172 or less. If that is an option then I'll go back and purchase and will put that in the notes section. Thanks for the clarification on the shirts! We hare happy this event is moving forward. Thanks for all you are doing!

Jesse Miller   December 13, 2020 at 2:06am

we are in contact with Innova now! let you know soon
