La Nina Open 2019 fueled by Dynamic Discs

I’ve been in the DG industry for the past 5 years and been playing consistently for the last 17 years. One thing I had noticed is a lack of good payouts for our women in our sport. I have 2 young daughters that will eventually play Disc Golf in a tournament setting but for right now its casual rounds as I teach them the fundamentals (Daddy Daughter Dates :-) ). My daughters have seen me play this sport regularly but have never seen women play so I thought "why not throw an all women’s tournament?!”.

2016 - The first La Niña was a HUGE SUCCESS and I can’t wait for you wonderful ladies to come back and play it again.

2017 - I had to take off due to my family and I moving but it ended up working out where we could hold it at the beginning of summer, which means MORE DAYLIGHT. I'm glad I did because I didnt want to run a sub par event.

In 2018 with the sponsorship of WestSide Discs, Paragon, Independence Disc Golf and other local businesses the La Nina Open was another huge success. We had beginners from the previous event jump up divisions, new players seeing where they stand among fellow competitors and for the first time we had touring professionals come through.

Like before I am going to commit at least $1500 added cash to our payout in order to entice NT pros to come out as well. My thought isn’t for it to be a time of empowerment or frilly, corny stuff. I want you ladies to battle and compete for a good payout. :-)

This will be strictly a Woman's Only Event. I'm going to do my hardest to bring in more outside sponsors to make it even bigger. If you or your business wants to be apart of this great event please contact me through here.

Which ever pro has the best over all score for the entire weekend will win the event bonus.... $1000 cash!!!!

This will be sanctioned as a B-Tier event with multiple divisions.
