LVLDG Open Bracket #2
About this tournament
Welcome everyone, this is the 2nd open bracket coming from Las Vegas Live Discgolf.
This is a bracket style tournament lasting until mid-July.
Once the 32 player registration is full we will randomly select the first round matches on our Facebook page, after all 16 matches have been set in the first round we will randomly select courses for each match.
These courses include: Mountain Crest, Sunset, Peccole, Arroyo Grande,
Red Ridge x2, and North Las Vegas.
Championship: Wildhorse Golf course
Competitor match ups along with the course's specific to each match will be posted and pinned on our LVLDG Facebook page, so stay tuned there for all important information regarding these tournaments. (We are using DGS to create easier registration and payment)
If all goes according to plan, we will start the first round on May 29th of 2024, each round will last 2 weeks.
1st Round: May 29th - June 12th
2nd Round: June 12th - June 26th
3rd Round: June 26th - July 10th
The final 4 competitor's:
Championship round at Wildhorse will be played on a day between July 22 - 26th.
(There are many variables with setting up the championship match at this course and being this far out I don't feel comfortable nailing down a specific day just yet, know it will be the week of July 22 to the 26th barring a unexpected event at Wildhorse that does not allow for disc golf that week).
No refunds will be given out after 1st round matches have been completely setup. If you don't think you will be able to compete at some point during the time frame given, please leave the spot for someone who will be able to. There will be plenty of other brackets in the future that may be better suited to your schedule.
Competitor's are tasked with staying updated on who their opponent is that round, course to be played, along with making contact and scheduling a time to compete between each other. (If there is communication issues, please reach out to Pete G.) If a player has made it impossible for a match to be completed they will be disqualified, and the other player will get a by to the next round.
Having a PDGA rating is not required and the population of each side of the bracket will be completely random this time. Please take into consideration that this bracket is open to all skill levels.
The wonderful 2 METER RULE (6.6 feet) is in effect across the entire tournament!
Other course rules we leave open to the player's competing at that course that day to discuss and agree upon.
SCORECARD'S are required and must be posted on the LVLDG Facebook page for a match to be valid. Showing the scorecard's on Live is great and encouraged but we need that information for our sanity and ease of progressing the bracket once a match is complete.
Of course we would love for all of these matches to be live on the LVLDG Facebook page but it is not a requirement to progress in the bracket. Live streaming responsibilities fall upon competitor's to organize for their match. Expect the heat to effect the ability to live stream so keep you and your phone cool out there. Show some love to whomever you get recording your match!

2nd- $300
3rd- $200
4th- $120
and another sweet trophy.
