LVDG Dutch Doubles I
About this tournament
Dutch Doubles is a variant of doubles in ball golf called Scotch Doubles. It is very similar to alternating shot; however, it must be predetermined between partners who will conduct teepad drives on even and odd holes and it cannot be changed mid-round. After the drive, partners alternate shots until a team holes out.
All basket positions at Twin Grove are currently in the original short design, and that will be the layout played both rounds. The one exception will be Hole 11 which has a basket in each pin position. Round 1 will play the short green Prodigy basket. Round 2 will play the longer, original hole design. This tournament will implement 20 hole rounds with the temp baskets being placed in between Holes 1 and 2. Please score as Holes 19 and 20 on your scorecards.
For those who are not aware, sanctioned doubles events do not affect your rating. They will provide you with PDGA points that can help you qualify for AM Worlds. This event will cost $50 per am team, and each player from each team will receive a $15 voucher to the LVDG mobile flymart. The rest of the net entry goes to sanctioning fees, club donations, and post-round payouts to the top 40% of each division. The top team in each division will receive a special trophy. Open division entry will cost $60 per team. Open teams will not be receiving a players' pack voucher and approximately $54 of the team's net entry fee will be added to the top 40% prize pool.
