Gateway Presents the LCS Alzheimer's Charity Pro-Am
About this tournament
The LCS Alzheimer's Charity Pro-Am is an event to raise awareness and funding for the Alzheimer's Association. It is an opportunity to join in the effort to end Alzheimer's Disease while introducing new players to the sport.
Entry fee proceeds will benefit The Alzheimer's Association. All players will receive a player's pack consisting of an event disc and shirt.
Pro Division players are anyone who regularly participates in tournament play.
Am Division is for truly novice players and non disc golfers.
If the Pro Division fills, players may request to play in the AM Division if there are available slots.
Pro-Am teams will be paired at random the day of the event. All teams will play from the short pads. PDGA World Doubles format will be followed. Cards may have up to three teams depending on turn out.
Multiple CTP prizes will be available for both divisions. Optional 50/50 Ace pot will be a $5 minimum donation per player and payout will be 50% of total pot if anyone hits an Ace. If no one hits an ace the entire pot will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Additional donations are encouraged.
Both players from the winning team will receive a trophy.
