About this tournament

The 2021 Kooky Noosa Challenge Driven by Innova is a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier event held at the Libby Dam. This is a two day event being held on August 28-29, 2021.

NOTICE

The Souse Gulch recreation area, where the Libby Dam disc golf courses are located, have moved into a Stage 2 Fire Restriction as of July 15, 2021. Unless conditions change prior to the tournament dates, there will not be camping available where we have traditionally camped by hole 6 on the upper course. We are working with the Corp to reserve the Dunn Creek campground, which is about a 5 minute drive from the visitors center. There are also other surrounding camping areas that are not far from the Dam.

If conditions worsen prior to the tournament (Stage 3 Fire Restriction), the recreation area will be closed off to the public and the tournament may be cancelled or pushed back to a later date (welcome to Montana!).

I will keep everyone as up to date as possible, and please visit the link below to see current fire restriction status.

**********

Lunch will not be provided over the weekend, so be sure to bring your own food and snacks. There is also no cell service on the course - prepare accordingly. The town of Libby is 17 miles away, heading south on Highway 37.

The Visitors Center will be closed to the public due to COVID restrictions, as a by product, throwing off of the Treaty Tower is unlikely to be a part of our festivities during the weekend this year. Here's to hoping things get back to normal sooner rather than later.

Refund policy

Kootenai Valley Huckers is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
