    45 minute lunch break. DRINK WATER!

    2:15pm - 2:30pm

    Second players meeting, hole/card assignments for round 2, walk to holes.

    2:30pm - 4:30pm

    Round 2 play. Time is approximate, based on average time for 18 holes per UDisc stats.

    4:30pm - 4:45pm

    Score tally, card creation for round 3 on Sunday. Notes for Sunday.

    36 hole round with a staggered, "tee time" format. After one card finishes hole 1 and begins walking to hole 2, the next card will tee off on 1. This will make for a roughly 40 minute window of tee times.

    3:00pm - 3:30pm

    Score tally, award and payout presentation, thank you, wrap up, catered pizza dinner (optional).

About this tournament

This is the Championship Tournament for the 2023 Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour. Play will be singles format, stroke play. Two rounds of 18 holes will be played on Saturday, 30SEP. These will be played with a shotgun start. There will then be a single 36 hole round played on Sunday, 01OCT. This will be played with a tee time format, with all cards beginning at hole 1 in roughly 5 minute intervals. First tee time on Sunday will be 10AM. This will ensure that our final tee time occurs before 11AM, the normal start time of our tournaments. We will ask that all players arrive before 10AM because play on hole 1 crosses the driveway.

This event will be open to the top 32 players by points accrued throughout the events of the 2023 Keweenaw Disc Golf Tour. Players will be bracketed into groups of 8 players. Each group of 8 players will have a stroke advantage over the players in the previous bracket. In other words:
32-25 - No stroke advantage
24-17 - 1 stroke advantage
16-9 - 2 stroke advantage
8-1 - 3 stroke advantage

If you are in the top 32 but are unable to attend, please let AJ know as soon as possible. We will keep spots open for players outside the top 32 in the standings who will be able to take your spot. AGAIN - if you cannot attend or need to cancel, please let AJ know as soon as possible so that others may take your spot.

Please arrive promptly. Please dress for any weather. Bring a water bottle. Though this is not a PDGA sanctioned event, we ask that you not use alcohol, smoke-generating tobacco or cannabis DURING the rounds out of respect for your card mates.

Your entry fee breaks down as follows:

$5 - greens fee, waived for season pass holders
$10 - cash prizes for this tournament.
$25 - Players pack items - Championship tee shirt, custom mini, custom disc, caddie book, trophy

The tour championship will pay out cash to the top 16 places. This is added cash that has been collected from all of the tour stops plus entry fees of the 32 championship entrants.

Ties will be determined by seeding.

Additional prizes will be announced on tournament day based on outside sponsorships.
