About this tournament
Kentuckiana Series Stop 1 - New Albany DGC. This will be the final sanctioned round at NADGC before the baskets come out and the course will be closed - so get it before it's gone! This is also the first event where bag tags will be distributed. Tag number 1 is up for grabs!
The Kentuckiana Series Presented By Derby City Disc Golf & SoIn Disc Golf.
This series will be 8 unique events plus a final event for the top 30% of each division.
The following divisions will be offered at all 8 events.
MPO & FPO
MA1 & FA1
MA2 & FA2
MA3 & FA3
4 of the 8 events will be PDGA C-tiers - Events 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Entry fee breakdown:
-PDGA events
-$20 for current PDGA members (+$15 for non PDGA members)
-$3 PDGA Fee
-$2 Kentuckiana Series Final Payouts
-$1 Host Club
-$14 Event Payouts
All pros will be paid out via PayPal and all AMS will be paid out via Bang-A-Chain store credit which can be used in person or at Bangachain.com. The finals (unsanctioned) will pay out Venmo or PayPal to all divisions.
Bang-A-Chain will also provide a free lunch for the finals, this will not come out of the payouts.
Points:
You MUST have a Kentuckiana Series/SoIN/Derby City bag tag before the start of an event to be able to earn points for that event. You don't need a Kentuckiana Series tag to play in any of the events, but you won't be able to earn points for the finals without one.
Each player will receive an extra 20 points for each event they play in. You will earn points each event based off your score compared to the entire field. All divisions will play the same layout for each event since points will be based off everyone's score.
Divisions:
You can only move up a division and keep your points. If you decide to move down a division, you will forfeit all the points you have earned besides the 20 you receive just for playing an event.
Finals:
The top 30% in points for each division will receive an invite to the finals. The cost of the finals will be $10 with all the money going into the final's payout. Everyone in the finals will receive a payout!
Club membership is $20. This also includes ace pot into 8 SoIn events this year ($40 value) including slm
