About this tournament
The 2024 Kan-U-Wyco C-Tier Benefit Disc Golf Tournament is a Benefit this year.
After many years, the Wyco Disc Golf Course has enjoyed renewed interest and many improvements.
Thanks to a very generous donation from Dynamic Disc's, 18 new Veteran Baskets have been installed in addition to the original 18 Mach III baskets. Multiple new placements have been installed to support all skill levels and reduce playing time for the Disc Golfer in a hurry. Dynamic Disc's, Mission Ks, has generously donated $500.00 to this Benefit Tournament. Thank you Pete Cashen!
With the support of the KCDGC, the Parks and Rec of Wyandotte county, and many hours of volunteer labor, most of the dead limbs and a significant amount of underbrush have been removed. Broken and missing benches and cart-path bridges have repaired of replaced as well.
The Kan-U-Wyco Tournament proceeds will all go directly to the installation of a (2) tiered island for the elevated short placement on Hole # 11, as well as hiring light/heavy equipment to clear long overdue dense underbrush throughout the Disc Golf course area tree-lines. The removal of dead limbs on the west side of to course is in the plans for this fall as well as erosion abatement at various places throughout.
Pro payouts are 100% By division. All registered Ams will receive a $15.00 Coupon from Dynamic Disc Disc stores in the Greater KC Area.
So, come on out and compete while helping to improve your Disc Golf community at the same time.
