Kamloops Ice Bowl, Global Disc Golf Charity Event

Head out of hibernation and feed the hungry. Play snowy disc golf and give the gift of sport. The 21st annual Kamloops Ice Bowl benefits the local Food Bank and Kamloops Kidsport. Last year we were #1 in Canada! Let’s do it again shall we?

Wacky Rules Round: Sunday, February 19th, FLEX start with a 2 hour tee off window 10am-12pm. Play and complete one round at McArthur Island by 2pm. Like last year, February’s event format is really an unsanctioned day of play in the park with bizarre rules. Following all the disc fun, the announcement of Ice Bowl Champion and other division winners will be celebrated. (Details on the ‘night-before auction’ are forthcoming…)

This is a charitable event, remember. You should/must bring non-perishable food items to the course on Sunday morning. Also, the registration fee is on Disc Golf Scene. No cash payout as all proceeds go to charity. There will be an optional ACEPOT with great prizes so you’ll have even more to play for other than bragging rights. Get ribboned up, dress for the weather. Stockpile on food to donate. Perhaps get your non-discing friends (it happens) and/or family to pledge your bundled, charitable self.
