It is hard to believe, but April 21st 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Raleigh's most played course! To commemorate the greatest day in Raleigh’s history, KWDGC is hosting a special bring your own partner doubles/fundraiser/ Summer Doubles Pre Game Warm Up..
Friends, Countrymen, & Disc Golf Hooligans of all ages, come out and celebrate this iconic course's 40th anniversary (probably where most of you played your first round.) and also help the club raise a little money for park upkeep and new benches/( also to get your summer doubles pre game warmup in as the 36th season of Kentwood Summer Doubles Season starts the very next Friday on 4.28.2023.)
This is a charity fund raiser, so the entry fee is $20 per player.
Divisions are Pro, Adv, Rec, Women's, and Mixed (co ed) Field is limited to the first 54 teams to register. When registering, the teams will be the division of the highest division chosen by either player, i.e. a Rec/Pro team will be PRO, a Rec/Adv team will be ADV , a REC/Bagger team will still be REC...
For the sake of daylight, our tee time will be starting as close to 5:50 as possible. This will be a shotgun start. Player meeting at 5:35..
Kentwood Disc Golf Club is a registered 501(C)(3) , 100% of the proceeds (after payout) will be put towards the park’s continued new projects, upkeep, and maintenance.
Registration for the event will go live Monday evening at 8pm on Disc Golf Scene.
Payout: Trophy's for the top 3 in each division. Pro top 40% cash + merch,
ADV, REC, WOMENS, MIXED CO ED, & PARENT+ CHILD merch. (all winners will have first dibs on the new 2023 kwsd stamped disc from Innova, DiscCraft, and MVP.

Refund policy
KWDGC will issue a refund if the request is made at least 24hrs prior to the event start, alternatively, you can request that your entry fee be made into a donation to help the park raise money for improvements.
