Is there going to be a JRO 2024?

This needs to be listed on UDisc otherwise there will be a ton of people who drove a long way to a no cell service area pissed they can’t play. Or trying to squeeze between cards.

Thanks for the suggestion Farris, I'll look into that. We're also going to post in the local facebook pages!

When are the baskets going to get moved into there right positions?

Seth Dey   September 5, 2023 at 4:25pm

Most of them are already there! Hole 7 will move to Hole 13's short pin Friday. We still need to work on getting a rock out of the sleeve for that one. 18 is getting moved to short around 230pm today.

Bailey Nelson   September 5, 2023 at 5:35pm

Sweet thanks!

Aaron Taylor    August 31, 2023 at 3:26am

So is this now a two-rounder?

Seth Dey   August 31, 2023 at 1:33pm

Hey Aaron, this year's event has always been scheduled for 2 rounds. Thanks for reaching out and can't wait to see you out there!

Aaron Taylor   September 1, 2023 at 7:57pm

Thanks. I guess I got confused by the three-days thing. See you there!

Are the projected payouts on the pdga event page for this tournament for real? No Am payout for any division except MA1?

pretty lame. whats the point?

Dustin Hanson   September 1, 2023 at 10:21pm

What's for lunch, gold leaf filet mignon?

Dustin Hanson   September 1, 2023 at 10:23pm

Also, the "about" section doesn't make it perfectly clear that there will be no payouts for AM divisions.

Seth Dey    August 25, 2023 at 10:30pm

Due to issues with the city that we haven't been able to overcome, we have no choice but to adjust the schedule for the tournament.
BUT... ADDITIONS include: Doubles round Friday, 8 free CTPs added for each pool, FREE LUNCH, Prize for Card winners (round 2), putting games between rounds for prizes!
Whiskers for C1 on every hole, OB lines will be stringed.

Correct. Doubles is optional, but a great place to practice the actual layout. You can get your players pack and first dibs there… or wait until day of to check in also.

Adam Koozer   August 31, 2023 at 6:25pm

Seth, can we bring a doubles partner that's not signed up for the event?

Seth Dey   September 1, 2023 at 11:45am

Yeah, that's totally fine!

Seth Dey    August 17, 2023 at 5:34pm

Player's Packs have been ordered, so I have placed limits on some of the items that people can choose based on ordered sizes and volumes.

Any hints as to what the 1/4 Zips are going to look like?

Seth Dey   August 11, 2023 at 4:52pm

Forgot to post pictures of the player's pack items. I will do that right now. Check in like 20 minutes.

Ryan Foose    August 4, 2023 at 2:09pm

I dont have a Facebook so how do I receive info about the players meeting?

Seth Dey   August 7, 2023 at 7:32pm

We will also be creating and sending out a caddy book for this event too that will have most information, but all players will be responsible for what is gone over in that meeting. So please let me know before your round that you missed it and I can give you a quick rundown if there is anything different/additional than what is in the caddy book.

Chaz Critchfield    August 3, 2023 at 1:51pm

Will there be a way to practice the layout prior to the event? I haven’t played JRO in a few years and am unfamiliar with the modified layout.

With there being quite a few events happening at Jolley's around our big event I'm not 100% sure when all of the baskets will be moved into the positions, but I will be putting most of them in their locations the week before the event at least. Glad to hear your coming out and I'm excited to play Utah States!

Alisha Richards    August 2, 2023 at 5:33pm

I see a link for the practice bag! But I don't see links for the hats or 1/4 zip jacket. Can those be added?

Seth Dey   August 2, 2023 at 8:19pm

I'll add pictures of them since we're going straight through distributors for them!

Alisha Richards   August 6, 2023 at 1:52am

Thanks! Then I can decide what to choose for my players pack :)

Ryan Hunter    July 31, 2023 at 7:20pm

Is there a rating cap on MA2? That’s not a thing, right? Just the suggested rating for each division…?

Kieran Buhler   July 31, 2023 at 7:51pm

It's an actual cap. You can not play in MA2 unless you are under 935

Seth Dey   August 1, 2023 at 5:21am

Hey Ryan, unfortunately MA2 does play as these two have mentioned. Playing on Sundays is such a polarizing topic and from the survey that we sent out it seemed that Pro and MA1 players prefer to play on Sundays instead of Fridays and lower Am divisions were the opposite. So that's what we' ... more

Ryan Hunter   August 1, 2023 at 10:34pm

Makes sense :) I know you guys are trying to your best to cater to the most people possible. Thank you guys for putting on the best event of the year and for growing the non-Sunday pool of available tournaments.

Parker Davis    July 20, 2023 at 2:45am

Thanks for running the best tourney of the year!
