Welcome to the 2019 Joliet Amateur Match play championship. This tournament will take place over several weeks from March through May. The finals will take place at Dellwood Disc Golf.
ANYONE RATED UNDER 969 can play, Amateur or professional!
The format will be as follows. 64 players will be randomly sorted into a single elimination bracket. You and your opponent will have 1 week to complete your match. If you are not able to complete it then both players will forfeit (exceptions can be made in cases of one sided scheduling issues) Matches need to be played BEFORE the last day in the window.
Round of 64 March 31 - April-6 (Players Choice)
Round of 32 April 7-14 Haines Wayside
Top 16 get a Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Escape and Latitude 64 Zero Medium Keystone
Round of 16 April 15-22nd West Park
Top 8 win cash!
Quarter finals April 23rd-230th Highland Park
Top 2 qualify for USAMPC state bracket
Semifinals/Finals TBD Dellwood Disc golf
NEW THIS YEAR IS A CONSOLATION BRACKET! ALL PLAYERS KNOCKED OUT IN ROUNDS 1 OR 2 WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO PLAY BACK INTO THE STATE BRACKET!
Matches should be played per the courses in the date deadlines. Rules, OB, and tee pads are to be agreed upon by the competitors. All scores will be posted in a Publicly available bracket. I will try and do weekly updates of the matches as the happen and are relayed to me.
All registration will be done through disc golf scene. The first 64 disc golfers to provide payment will be guaranteed spots. If the bracket is filled we will randomize the bracket. If it fails to fill then payouts will be adjusted and we will randomize the bracket on Mar 20th. Once payment is made refunds will incur a $5 fee unless you provide an immediate replacement.

All players will receive a Joliet Amateur Match Play Festieband and a chance for random prizes like discs, bags, and swag.
PRIZES
All competitors will be automatically entered into Pickem style side game with Merch Prizes to the top finishers.
Cash to the top 8 finishers (OVER $1000 PURSE FOR TOP 8)
Random prizes to early sign ups
2 entries into the Illinois State Match Play Bracket as part of
the USAMPC (top 2)
Dynamic Discs Credit (Top 6)
The bracket will be randomly decided by Random.org
