JP Cup Opener: South Hills Classic presented by Innova
Added cash $750
About this tournament
Here we go!! The first event of the 2023 JP Cup kicks off big with a Pro/AM B-Tier with $750 added cash to the pro purse and a AM player's pack supplied by Innova worth about $85 retail!
There will be 4 events leading up to the JP Cup Finale with all plans for the final event to be held at the new Coleman's Park course in Lebanon. Each event will have 20 divisions open with 18 of those divisions earning automatic bids to the JP Finale if you win your division. You must win your division to receive your automatic bid: an automatic bid does not pay for your entry into the Finale, but it does ensure your spot so you do not have to hassle yourself when registration begins. Junior division winners will not receive automatic bids! In all, 72 players will receive automatic bids to the JP Cup Finale.
Sponsor registration will begin Tuesday, February 7th at 7 pm for those that wish to sponsor a hole for $30 on top of their registration fee. Open registration begins Thursday, February 9th at 7 pm for the rest of the field.
Layout for the event will be updated in the comments of this event as time goes on. Do not plan for a normal layout at South Hills! There will be added OBs with plenty of flags as well as some extra mandos!
This event is capped at 80 players with a max of 50 amateurs players able to sign up. 30 pro players have the opportunity to sign up to promote the $750 added cash.
Ams will receive a big player's pack from Innova featuring a custom event stamped premium disc, a mini, a Innsulated Innova canteen, a Innova hat, and a Dewfly Towel. This pack retails at $85, and because of this, trophy costs, and all other tournament costs, there will be no am payouts.
