WAITLIST PLAYERS: Be sure to update your registration with full payment once you've been promoted into the tournament. Starting on Dec 1, you will have 3 days to update your registration or you will be dropped from the list and the next person on the waitlist will be promoted. Its not fair to the rest of the waitlist. Reminder emails to those that have been promoted have already been sent.

Hoping I get off the waitlist! Also wanted to volunteer - if MA2 ends up with open spots (noticed a smaller field/waitlist) I'm willing to play up a division if it gets me into the tournament!

V. Sky   December 16, 2022 at 4:54am

The waitlist is promoted in the order of signup, regardless of division. There have been no-shows on the morning of the event before, especially when it’s so cold out. If you show up and there are some no-shows and not anyone or too many on the waitlist ahead of you that have also showed up to ... more

Hey guys, I’m visiting from PA and haven’t played the course. Can anyone give me directions to get to the parking lot near hole 6 tee that was mentioned in the email? Thanks!

Its the second entrance into the park at 770 Deckner Ave. Not the entrance that has the big red metal art structure but the next one.

Thank you!

Hey Paull, could you move me up to MA2? Looking forward to playing with y'all!

Is is worth getting on the waitlist? Or to late?

V. Sky   December 12, 2022 at 7:43pm

That is a personal choice. The waitlist fee is non-refundable but if you get promoted it goes towards your registration. Its looking like its gonna be much colder this weekend than it's been and I foresee a few more drops at least. The only way to make it off the waitlist on the day of the event is if there are no shows and there is nobody from the waitlist ahead of you.

Jonathan Zobrosky    December 5, 2022 at 9:13pm

Can I please be moved to MA2? I only see the option to move to the MA2 waitlist when I try to edit my registration.

I made the change for you.

Thank you!

I was just curious, is there a timeline for when the course be in the tournament layout/pin position?

V. Sky   November 29, 2022 at 10:47pm

They’ll be in the tournament layout by Dec 8. I try to have it done before 10 days prior for each tourney I run.

Adam Broda    November 28, 2022 at 4:01pm

16 in the waitlist, and it’s the end of November. Is it still worth it to register? Will more MA Req spots be added?

2 more just made it off the waitlist. Last year, we added 3 players off the waitlist on the day of the event from players not showing up. The waitlist is promoted in order of registration into the division they've registered for. Its your choice as it's only $5 to join the waitlist but that $5 is non-refundable. If you're promoted it will go towards your registration.

UPDATE: ALL THREE WOMEN'S DIVISIONS WILL PLAY SHORT TEES BOTH ROUNDS.

V. Sky    November 2, 2022 at 3:07am

There are still 3 FA1 spots reserved. If you are interested please contact me so I can get you registered properly.

After some requests and much consideration, I have made the decision to split FA2 & FA3 into it's own Pool B and they will play both rounds from the Red Tees (short). Bag tags are per pool only. Example; If you're playing in Pool B, your bag tag is only up against others playing in Pool B. The same for Pool A. FA1 will play in Pool A and play from the Black tees (long) in the first round and Red Tees (short) in the second round.

Hi! As a female player I would really appreciate even the smallest change that would put ladies in a separate pool. Thanks for all of your hard work and consideration!

Looks like it's only open for FA divisions. Could I get an invite to sign up for MA3?

General registration opens on the 30th. You can sign up then

John Harper    October 24, 2022 at 12:38am

Would it be possible to have FA3 and FA2 play shorts both rounds? Perkerson longs are quite daunting for any player with a rating below 800 starting with the very first throw of the day and continuing through an incredibly challenging 18. The short/short layout would also allow the female pool to be rated against themselves similar to how Iron Leaf Open was arranged. Thanks for your consideration!

This is not how its been done in the past because the Intown Atlanta Holiday Classic has been the "de facto" end-of-season Intown bag-tag tourney also, so out of the fairness of that it's always been same layout for all players. It is a valid request and given the circumstances, I will consider it and make a decision before general registration opens next Sunday.

Jesika Akhavein   October 27, 2022 at 2:21pm

Please and thank you for the consideration! Fwiw I am a FA2 player in the bag tag mix and would appreciate the adjustment.
