We are super excited to be in Idaho at Lake Walcott State Park for the Mad Pelican Open 3! The weather looks like it will be great! We will have the Infinite Discs Tour mobile store at the park all day Friday and Saturday. Come and check out our inventory! Following is some very important information about the event. Please read through it carefully.

SCHEDULE AND PLAY

On Friday, we will be running a flex start PDGA C-tier event from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Registration for that event is on Disc Golf Scene or you can register in person day of. This is a rating based division event, meaning you must play in the division which your rating falls. The course is open to everyone on Friday to practice whether you are signed up for the flex start or not.

We have one family reunion and one wedding that we are working around this weekend. It means we will not be playing holes 2 and 4. Please be courteous to the them and everyone else in the park who are not a part of the disc golf tournament. Eliminating those two holes also meant we had to eliminate some other designs we were looking forward to doing.

This is a shotgun start event. Everyone will be starting first round play at 10:00am. There is a players meeting at 9:15am at tournament central but it is not mandatory.

GROUPING AND SCORING

We have 5 person groups on every hole. We don’t have multiples of 5 in every division which means there will be mixed division groups. We will keep mixed groups to a minimum as much as possible. All the groups will be assigned on Friday evening and groups assignments can be found at pdga.com

All official scoring will be done through the PDGA Digital Scorecard.

The access code is madpelican

There will need to be a minimum of two scorers per group. The PDGA digital live scorecard is the official scorecard. We recommend the backup scorekeeper also us the PDGA Digital Scorecard as it notifies you immediately of any discrepancies. If you prefer, you can also use UDISC or paper scorecards. All scores needs to be verified and submitted at the end of each round.

PLAYERS PACKS

Players packs will consist of a custom stamped Infinite Disc, a custom double wall 32oz canteen, and a custom 50/50 T-shirt. You can pick up you players pack all day Friday or Saturday. There are a variety of colors of everything and are first come first served.

AWARDS AND PAYOUTS

We will have an award ceremony immediately following the event. We have custom trophies provided by Timeless Awards Company for the champion in each division. If there are any ties for 1st place in any division, there will need to be a playoff. The playoff order will be sudden death and start on hole 7 and play holes 7,8,9,1,3,5,6 if needed. Open divisions will be paid out through PayPal. If requested, we can also pay out venmo or cash. Please let the TD know if that is your preference. Am divisions will be paid out in Infinite Tour Bucks. We recommend that you use your winnings in person, but if that is not possible, your credits will automatically be uploaded to Infinite Disc Tour.
