This year we will be having the Inaugural Community Disc Golf Lounge Open in Tulsa Oklahoma. The CDGL is an international Facebook community of likeminded disc golfers who want to respectfully interact with each other and share their love for playing, collecting, buying/selling/trading, and more without the fear of being scammed, which is a rising problem within the online disc golf community. We selected Tulsa, OK for the site of our first meet-up, because it is as central as possible while still maintaining strong local connections there for planning purposes. We cannot thank Kyle Gibson and the Tulsa Disc Golf Club enough for the warm hospitality and help with planning this event.

The event is a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier. The Pro divisions will have at least $1000 of added cash, and the amateur divisions will receive a player pack. The event will take place at Haikey Creek Park and Twin Bridges DGC on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 (changed from 2 days to 1 day). The first round will be at Haikey Creek in the morning teeing off at 9 AM, and the second round will be at Twin Bridges in the afternoon. There will also be activities taking place in addition to the tournament rounds. Much more information to come.
