About this tournament

This is a casual, fun, and inexpensive tournament! It is ideal for beginner and intermediate players, but good for advanced players too!
This will be a flex start event that will go from 9am to 2pm, and end by 3:30 pm.. That means you have to start your round (or rounds) sometime between 9am and 2pm, and finish by 3:30 pm. You can sign up day of, but it would be very helpful and greatly appreciated if you pre-register. Check-in & registration will be by the fence between the practice basket and hole 1 tee box between 9 and 2. Player packs will be picked up at the check-in/registration table.
The player pack is worth $65 and includes a premium driver, a premium midrange, a baseline putter, a cooling towel and a mini! You have to use the player pack discs for the tournament. No other discs may be used for the tournament, but you are welcome to practice with your player pack/tournament discs as long as you want before starting your round. No practice throws are allowed once you have started your round.
Registration includes one round, but you can try to improve your score by playing extra rounds. Each extra round is $10, or $35 each if you would like to purchase extra player packs. There are a limited number of player packs available and they are on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to sign up early to insure you get yours. Your best score from all rounds will be used to determine the winners!
If you are going to play any extra rounds, you must notify us and pay at the registration table BEFORE you start your extra round(s). You can also text or email me and pay via Venmo or PayPal.
You can sign up for up to two extra rounds when you register. If you want to play more than two extra rounds you will need to contact us before starting any rounds you haven't already signed up for. You cannot change divisions after you've started your first round.
Scores will be kept on a UDisc event. There will be extra UDisc events (rounds) for those of you who are playing extra rounds. If you are not able to use UDisc (or if it doesn't work properly) you will need to keep score on your own and report it to me via email no later than 3:40 pm. If I don't receive your score by 3:40 pm it will not count toward the tournament competition.
Please play in groups of 3 or more. If you have a slow group, please allow faster groups to play through. If you don't have a group ahead of time, just show up. We will find a group for you to play with. Normal OB rules for CEI will apply for this tournament. Let me know if you have any OB/course questions.
Women & kids are welcome and encouraged to play! The divisions are skill based not gender based. There should be a division to fit everyone. Please use your BEST judgement to determine your division so everyone is able to be competitive within their divisions. If you have a question about divisions or think we should add a division, please let me know.
Each division winner will receive a Trilogy Challenge Champion disc and some Trilogy store credit based on the size of their division. We will also be raffling off a Marksman Basket! Every player will get a raffle ticket for each round they pay for, even if they don't play. For example, if someone wants to purchase a player pack but not play, they will get a raffle ticket. And if they want to purchase two player packs they will get two raffle tickets. If they play extra rounds for $10 each, they will get one extra ticket for each extra round they play.
If there is a tie for first place in any division, we will have a playoff starting between 4 and 4:15. If you are tied for first place in your division you need to be at the hole 1 tee box by 4:00 to get instructions for your playoff. If you are not there by 4:00 you will forfeit your chance to compete for first place in your division. Winners will be posted on the SFDG Facebook group and announced at the night tournament. I expect some killer playoffs! I think that will be the most fun and most exiting part of the tournament!
