Iceberg Challenge
About this tournament
Welcome to the 2024 Iceberg Challenge!
New
There will be ONE slot open for a player to design a hole for the 2024 event. Please select BERG - Apprentice under the Registration Tab to sign up! This also qualifies as your registration as a player.
This annual arctic experience will combine a popular disc and a favorite local course - enhanced with some icy layouts.
With your registration to this tournament, you will receive a custom stamped Berg disc by Kastaplast and a Trash Panda mini. The stamp is by local BDGC member, Keegan Allanson. The Berg disc is available in the K1 (30 available), K1 soft (30) and K3 (30 available) plastics. You will be able to pick out your disc from dozens of colors on a first-come, first-served basis when you sign in on the day of the event. The Berg you receive will be the ONLY disc you use for the two rounds as you drive, chip, and putt your way around the “icebergs” at Karst Farm Park.
At least ten of the holes on the new 21-hole course will feature new and exciting layouts. There will be crevasses to be clear, icebergs for landing zones, and baskets located on small chunks of ice that will be played as islands. The modified hole designs will be released prior to the event on this page and will also be on the caddy sheet that you will receive by email.
• The 2024 Iceberg Challenge is a 2 round event. The first round will be random cards. The second round cards will be based off of first round scores.
• The cost for registration is $33.
• The Ace pot will will be $120. (split among winners)
• There will be two CTPs – prizes TBD.
• Long Drive contest. (2 throws)
• Trophies will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division, plus the long drive champion.
