About this tournament
1 round of play
Iceberg for Inclusivity is a one round fundraiser to benefit The Trevor Project, Triangle Community Center and GLSEN Connecticut.
This one round, build-your-own card (or make three great new friends) event that will be taking place at Panthorn Disc Golf Course(PINK layout for most and RED for NEW and NEM) in Southington, CT on February 3, 2024 at 10:11am.
Every player will receive a BERG and custom event ZING mini!
A BERG is the only disc that may be used during the event. You may play with any BERG but nothing but a BERG. Mark your lie with any mini you wish.
$9 from every registration will be donated as follows:
$2.50 to The Trevor Project
$2.50 to Triangle Community Center
$2.50 to GLSEN Connecticut
$1.50 to Panthorn Course Fund.
This is NOT a sanctioned event, but play will follow PDGA rules, so a Mini must be used to mark your lie, and you must put a disc in the basket to successfully complete a hole.
Award system:
First place in every adult division.
First and Second places in adult divisions with 4 or more people.
First, Second and Third places in adult divisions with 6 or more people.
First, Second and Third in Junior Divisions.
Divisions that are unpopulated as of 1/4/24 will receive generic (not have division specific) awards.
All scoring for this tournament will be on UDisc Events.
Extras:
Raffle: $5 for 5 tickets during online-registration or check-in day-of.
Ace Pot: $5 during online-registration or check-in on day-of.
At the end of play, the money will be divided by the total aces in the 18 holes played! If no aces during 18, the money will go to Audubon.
ps I have some BERG x discs on reserve if the event fills early enough, we MAY add a dozen more spots and add the "X"s o the mix or players pack discs.
