All a heads up that although it shows 39 registered right now, there are on 38 actual players. Lianne has had to drop out but she is very generously asking us to keep her registration fees as a donation to the fundraiser.

This means we will have an even number of men and an even number of women. MA1 and MA2 should have even numbers in each, though if not, we will sort it out day of ????

Note that with 38 players we will have 1 card of 6 (likely in MA1 as they will play fastest). This was d ... more

Hey everyone - getting real close now!

We've prepared a Caddy Book for the event that you all can access and download here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z2XMhrff0q93K_UkxgTaPAUappJ3O7Wd/view?usp=sharing

It explains the hazard and OB areas that Stephen and I will be marking out, and it details where the alternate tee and basket locations are. It also thanks our title sponsor, MVP Disc Sports, as well as all the wonderful people and organizations that contributed to the players pack ... more

Hey there! Congrats on putting this tournament together! I'm sure it will be a blast!
I would have loved to attend but sadly I have a work event that I have to be at :(
I would still like to support the tournament if I can? Could I buy a player pack or just the cool competitor disc if possible?
Thanks!

Hey Dale! Thanks for the kudos and sorry you can't be there to play. If you are able to drop by any time during the day of the tournament 9-5 we absolutely will have extra Watts for sale (and other amazing stuff)! If we don't sell through them all on the day, we will reach out to you and some others who have asked.

Dale Rourke   January 27, 2024 at 10:20pm

Ok perfect sounds good Brandon. I will be out of town that day but maybe I'll give some cash to Johnny to buy a tournament watt and another disc at your auction.

And just like that we are FULL. A huge thank you to everyone - we're stoked to see you all in a couple of weeks. Weather forecast is looking good at this point - but as goes the name, we play come snow and ice or sun and grass.

I also wanted to confirm that anyone who is present at the tournament (you do not have to be playing!) is welcome to bid in the auction or buy merchandise, though merch sales won't go into full swing until the end of first round to give everyone a fair shot. The auction starts right from 9 AM.

Let's go!

Hey everyone - a couple clarifications ahead of the questions being asked ;)

1. We will accept cash or e-transfer for payment for any merchandise or auction items at the event.

2. We will confirm payment before you leave - if you cannot pay for your auction items, they will go to the next highest bidders.

3. It will be a silent auction that will start at 9AM and end shortly after the second round is finished.

4. There will be items to buy and items in the auction. We'll post som ... more

Damn no online contributions then :(

Brandon Belanger   January 19, 2024 at 1:57pm

There may be after the tournament for things we don't sell, but we wanted to make sure the on course players had first opportunity to bid.

Brandon Belanger    January 6, 2024 at 1:41am

Hey everyone. I've setup the divisions in the registration. I think those of you already in GEN can move to a specific division yourself, if you'd like.

If not, I can edit your division for you. Or, you can just tell us at the event.

Hello everyone,

We have received feedback about the format of Open Random Flip for the event and we hear you.

To ensure fair competition, and fun for all participants, we will be changing to a Divisional Doubles format. The following divisions will be available:

MA1
FA1
MA2
FA2
MJ18
FJ18

We are still going to have everyone sign up as individuals so that we don't create any issues for those who have already registered.

When you arrive at the event and collect your player ... more

Fixed registration to singles so that you don't need to supply a team name. Sorry about that folks! (Haha)

It will be random flip at the course :)

I sadly can't make this tourament as I have plans that long weekend. Would be sweet if you used a online auction website so people are bid remotely. Probably would up the donations amount too. My work used this website for our Christmas silent auction. Seemed to work well!

Charlie, this is a great idea. We will consider this - thank you for the suggestion! Sorry you cannot come! Hope you can make it to Naked Acres in April. :)
