About this tournament

The IOS #100 Forest City Frenzy Celebration is June 4 & 5, 2022. This A-tier event will be held at Anna Page Park and Ingersoll Memorial in Rockford, Illinois. Come help us celebrate 100 events in the Illinois Open Series. This event was originally scheduled for 2020 but had been postponed due to the pandemic.

This event is brought to you by Discraft, the world leader in disc sports, as the title sponsor for this event. Discraft has long supported the Illinois Open Series tournaments. The Rockford Convention and Visitors Bureau has provided significant backing for this event along with additional support from the Rockford Park District and the Rockford Disc Golf Club. Pros will be paid out 40% with $3000 Added Cash.

DGPT Ledgstone Open Regional Qualifier
This event is offering 1 MPO and 1 FPO spot. The top finishers who are not already registered for Ledgestone will get a guaranteed spot to register in the event (you will still need to pay the entry fee). If this person cannot compete, or does not want the spot, the qualifying spot will go to the next highest finisher.

Amateur player pack:
- 2 Tournament stamped discs
- Dri-fit polo with tournament logo
- $20 voucher for merchandise from Shop Ledgestone's huge onsite store.

We have a bonus for our long-time players (both Pros and Ams) for whom IOS #100 will be their 25th IOS event or more. They will receive a custom hardwood mini with their name, PDGA number, and number of IOS events played.

The hardwood minis described above will be available as an add-on item for all other participants.

The cut-off for to qualify for or purchase a mini is March 6.

Registration for sponsors including those that have played 30+ IOS events opens on February 2 at 7:00pm
Registration for all other players opens February 9 at 7:00 pm.
To allow for us to order the correct sizes of shirts, amateurs need to register by April 24 to be eligible to receive the polo shirt. Players registering after this date will not receive a shirt as part of their player pack.

The current course plan (subject to change). All divisions play 2 rounds on Saturday and 2 rounds on Sunday.
Pool A: MPO, MP40, MP50, MP60: East, West, and South
Pool B: MA1, MA2: East, West, South, and Ingersoll
Pool C: MA3, MA40, MA50: East, West, South, and Ingersoll
Pool D: MA4, FPO, Am Women, MA60: East, West, and Ingersoll

Refund policy

Illinois Open Series is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
We follow the PDGA refund guidelines. See section 1.03 of the PDGA competition manual. Note the nominal $5 waitlist fee is non-refundable. There is a $10 handling fee on all refund requests.
