HUMBOLDT ICE BOWL UPDATE : EVENT POSTPONED
The City of Eureka has informed us that Sequoia Park will be closed this weekend. We do not have time nor are we interested in changing venues for this event on short notice. As such we have determined that postponing the event is in the best interest of the club, TD's, and hopefully players as well. We realize that some players may not be able to participate due to the change, but we are doing our best with what we have to work with. After discussions with Derrick and Levi regarding the NorCal Winter Charity Series it was determined that March 4th and 5th is the best fit for this event. This is the date that we are TENTATIVELY scheduled for. We still need confirmation from the city of Eureka for use of Sequoia park that weekend. I will make another post to confirm as soon as we hear word back.
If you are registered for this event and still wish to participate in March you don't need to do a thing. If you are registered for this event and you will not be able to participate in the event please request a refund via your disc golf scene confirmation email or disc golf scene reg page (worst case you can contact Jeremy Bursich directly, but please make requests via dg scene if you can).
On behalf of Jeremy, Par Infinity, and myself (Caleb Gribi) we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these postponements have or might cause. We really had no choice here and are doing our best with what mother nature has thrown our way. Ultimately having the city close the park was out of our control though, and forced us to make the tough decision to push this event. We really look forward to seeing you all in Sequoia park, hopefully on March 4th and 5th.

This year the Ice Bowl will be expanded into a two day event. Saturday, January 7th to Sunday January 8th. Each player will still be playing two rounds, but this will allow us to have more players sign up, and raise more money for charity. That being said, we still need to play a lot of golf, so please make sure you are there on time. We will be starting on time.
