All scores are up on the PDGA website and here and have been checked and verified / PDGA has already been paid and since deadline for Tuesday's updates was today these scores and ratings should be on you next update for the PDGA has my final report and all final payments for this event // Thanks to our Sissy for without her love and dedication to this great game of disc golf these events just could not happen. We had a full house with foursomes on every hole and some groups flew right thru the course while other groups had some waiting. For those that are new to the tourney playing or those who have just played local events just be patient in these types of situations for if you play larger regional events in the future those types of situations are common place. Take it from someone that has played for over 15 years throughout the US where waiting and keeping your game together is all part of the mental game of disc golf for T. D.'s can not expedite how fast or slow someone plays unless you have 21 marshals on a course walking with the 21 different groups. Electronic scoring and setting all hole assignments, OB's and messaging works great for RD 1 of a same day 2 round event but is a bit of a challenge for round 2 where you have limited time of about an hour between rounds to verify scores, set the board, and regroupplayers based on scores. I still love the instant gratification of electronic scoring so you know where you stand within your division and get an immediate rating etc.. but expediting a 2nd round immediately after a 1st round still works better with paper and pencil scoring / However to try to keep events as safe as possible until the pandemic scare has lifted we will continue to look at ways to eliminate as much direct contact as possible which the electronic scoring does for the viewing of the score board gets eliminated and avoids that close contact gatherings, NEXT EVENT ON M.O.B.'S SCHEDULE IS 30 MINUTES SOUTH FROM ROLLING HILLS AT OTTAWA PARK IN TOLEDO, OH ON AUGUST 1ST (SATURDAY) (C-TIER)(OTTAWA PARK OPEN) Hope to see many of you there // Stay safe and MOB enjoyed hosting you today for a day of competitive disc golf
