Hope Above Fear Charity Disc Golf Tournament
About this tournament
The Emerald Coast Disc Golf Club is proud to host this charity tournament benefitting Hope Above Fear, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting awareness about the dangers of substance use, extending assistance to adolescents struggling with substance abuse, and providing support for their families.
This event is NON-sanctioned. THIS IS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE EVENT.
All money raised directly benefits HAF. Entry fee is $25 for all levels and includes free lunch from one of the food vendors!
We will be running the Gold Rush layout, 27 holes. Trophies awarded to top finisher in each division. We will meet by the field hole at Pirate’s. 8:00 am SHOTGUN start. Email will be sent 1-2 days prior and serve as Player’s Meeting.
Please consider volunteering after the tourney and teach visitors about this wonderful sport. GROW THE SPORT!
RPA Gold 970+ and RAH Blue <970 will be playing LONGS where there is a long tee pad. All other divisions playing SHORTS. All holes are a PAR 3 with the exception of Gator longs 3 and 6 (par 4).
Paved roads and fences are OB. ALL WATER is casual (no penalty stroke, play where it lies/seek relief as necessary).
All scoring will be on UDisc under the TOURNAMENT tab using the Hope Above Fear layout. Am and Pro layouts.
BONUS: We will be playing “Two off 1” regardless of the hole you start on (i.e., everyone gets 2 drives off their first hole only and takes their best shot).
