About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This event will be a BYOP best shot doubles format. Morning round will be at the world famous Blue Gill DGC. After 24 holes there we will travel 5 miles down the road where they will have lunch available and then an afternoon round riding in golf carts at Yankee Springs DGC. Please note, it’s state law that you cannot bring in your own alcohol to Yankee Springs, they do have a full bar inside of the restaurant that would be happy to sell you drinks for your round and even give you a cooler full of ice.
Cost is $90 per team. Bluegill greens fee and golf carts are included at Yankee Springs in your registration cost.
Blue Gill Rules- BG policy is pack it in pack it out, meaning there are no trash cans so keep any trash or cans you may accumulate during your round in your bag! This is a beautiful piece of property and must be treated with utmost respect. ANY TRASH OR CIGARETTE BUTTS LEFT AND FOUND ON THE COURSE THAT DAY WILL RESULT IN A $5 DEDUCTION FROM THE ACE POOL PER PIECE OR BUTT, THAT WILL GO STRAIGHT BACK TO BLUE GILL We surely do not want to have to do this but we really take pride in being able to come to this course and we take the trash issue very seriously. The course is beautiful and is an absolute treat to walk and play, all we ask is you help us keep it that way. :-)
Yankee- Each team will have a cart during their round of play. A cart is a privilege not a necessity. If you are driving carelessly and causing damage to the course purposely, your cart will be taken. We are all adults, have fun but respect the grounds please
Payouts will be cash as always but you will have the option to exchange your cash value for a Disc Baron Voucher worth 25% more in value if you choose. We will have a Zuca Cart and Discraft Chainstar Lite Raffles. Lots of CTP and Long Putt prizes! Optional $5 CTP 50/50 and $5 ace pool as well (per person).
There will also be an auction with sports and music memorabilia as well as a few vacation packages. Auction items will be view-able and taking bids at both courses throughout the day. Each item sold helps support our club.
This is always a great day of fun, we are looking forward to seeing everyone at two of the places we call Home!
