The Buzzz Vs Roc Showdown. This will be an Am only event with a player pack disc and all cash payouts! Once paid you may choose a Buzzz or Roc for a player pack disc, first come first serve. The course at Yankee will be the battle grounds for the war between two Legendary discs that changed the game of disc golf. We will be adding 6 alternate holes to shorten up some of the distance on the really long ones making this a 24 hole battle. Here is the format and rules for this event. First you must decide if you are on team Buzzz or team Roc. Once you have chosen your side load your bag with your favorite discs of the mold you chose. Any mold or variation of Buzzz or Rocs will be allow like Buzzz SS, OS, Classic Roc, Roc3, Rancho etc. as long as it is a variation of the Buzzz or Roc it is allowed. These are the discs you will play you whole round with. NO DRIVERS! Buzzz or Roc ONLY! Anyone caught throwing anything but either of these two molds will be disqualified. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS YOUR PUTTERS!** Though you will be allowed and encouraged to bring and use your putters the ONLY TIME they may be used is when you are INSIDE the circle. We will either have the circle painted or use a group decision and pace off the distance. After that all rules are as always, OB over the fence, Greens, and Sand. There are three divisions and will be cash payouts for the top 5 places in each division. Also there is the Ace Pool and 50/50 along with plenty of ctp/long putts. Cost includes your cart, there will be a couple of additional carts available for purchase for spectators if needed. The Bar and the Kitchen will both be open, and also after the round the course will be open for play at a discounted rate. This is the first of the type of event in the area and we plan to run more and run them every year. Come out and join us for a day of fun and disc golf and help us end the controversy of which mid is better, the Buzzz or the Roc!
