DISC GOLF CHARITY PRO-AM TOURNAMENT SET FOR FEB. 10-12 AT SHIPYARD PLANTATION ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Savannah Disc Golf Club has arranged to host a pro-am tournament to benefit The First Tee of the Lowcountry.
The event kicks off with practice rounds at Shipyard's Brigantine golf course Friday afternoon, Feb. 10. Saturday’s action starts at 8 a.m. with a players meeting, followed by two rounds of competitive play, beginning at 9 a.m. on the course specially designed by Premier Design Disc Golf. The final round is set for 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, followed by a 2 p.m. awards ceremony.
Organizers are specially outfitting the venerable Shipyard course for the tournament with 18 disc golf holes. Serious players won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to throw discs on one of the South’s most popular golf courses.
All Players will receive:
1) Continental Breakfast Saturday and Sunday
2) Box Lunch Saturday and Sunday
3) A custom-stamped Tournament Disc to commemorate the event
Additional Amateurs Player Pack including Shirt and other items
Amateur Prizes valued at + $1000
Pro Purse is 100% of pro entry fees
About Juniors Players
We are inviting up to 50 Junior Players to play for free
There will be a few terms and conditions
1) Player must be under 18
2) Junior Players may not be left unattended
3) Junior Players will be required to pay a $20 deposit which will be fully refunded with the exception of - "no show" monies will be donated to the First Tee
Juniors playing for free get don't get amateurs player packs, but do get 4 meals and a disc to commemorate the occasion.
