Henslee Park Disc Golf Course Fundraiser
About this tournament
Welcome to the DDGC's fundraiser event! We are trying to raise enough money to get this course installed permanently! Come play, help us raise money, have fun, and give us your feedback on the current design of the course!
Our goal from this event is to raise as much money as we can to get the materials needed to install the course. We already have all 18 baskets! If we can raise the money for the tee pads and other installation materials then we will have a new course in town!
As far as the design of this course goes, the current plan is to have 18 baskets and 27 tee pads. This will allow us to have a gold level 18 hole course for advanced players, as well as a 9 hole layout for newer players!
Since this is a fundraiser event there is no payout. To make up for this there are a bunch of prizes and rewards to win! We are giving away 4 baskets, backpacks, and over 35 discs! You can win these prizes by either shooting the best round on a particular layout, winning a side game, or from the raffle.
The Gold Layout is 18 holes from the long tees.
The Rose Gold Layout is 18 holes from the long tees, but you will play the 9 red tee pads where available. This layout you get the best of both worlds. I recommend trying this layout if you are a newer player, or you don’t like longer courses.
The Red layout is a shorter loop of 9 holes from the short tee pads. This layout is great for beginners!

The Raffle - $5 = 1 ticket; $20 = 5 tickets
In the raffle we have a Dynamic Discs recruit lite basket, 2 Handeye mission rig backpacks and over 35 discs! You don't want to miss out on this raffle. The money goes to a great cause and there are tons of prizes.
Ace Pot: $5 - The ace pot is starting out at 200$! Only half of the ace pot will be rewarded for an ace. The other half of the ace pot will go towards the course fund. If no aces are hit all of the money in the ace pot will go to the course fund.
CTPs: There will be 3 Free CTPs.
Hole 17 - $50 cash
Hole 12 - Disc prize
Hole 6 - Disc Prize
CTP Side Game - This side game is $5 for 2 throws at the basket. The basket location and distance is TBD, but will be within a 250 foot distance. The person who gets closest to the pin at the end of the day takes the basket home! This will be a Dynamic Discs Marksman Basket.
Putting Side Game - The prize for winning this game will be yet another basket! This basket is a Recruit Lite Basket. The rules of the game are as follow: There will be multiple stations for the player to putt from. These stations will increase in distance and move around the basket. $5 gets you 3 "lives". If you make the putt, you move to the next station, and you get the disc back that was just putted. If you miss the putt, you stay at that station and lose the disc that was just putted. $20 gets you 5 "lives". And $10 can be used during a game to get back one of the discs that you have lost and get one extra "life".
All games can be explained further at the event. You can play both of the side games as many times as you would like. You can play as many rounds on the course as time permits.
Day of sign ups allowed.
Sad Dog Discs will be on site with their trailer and inventory! Make sure to stop by and check out their selection. Sad Dog also has donated items for the raffle and is helping us run this event. We can't thank them enough for their help and support of this event. Make sure you go see them at tournament central.
Also I would like to thank the MCDGC for allowing us to use their baskets to setup the temp course. This allows us to test the layout and have the fundraiser on the course without having to initially install it. Thanks MCDGC!
