About this tournament

The Heart of the Thumb Amateur Tri-vent is an event that incorporates the longest drive, longest putt and the score from 2 rounds of 18 disc golf.

Players Pack: First 24 get a souvenir metal medallion bag tag. First 60 get a special stamped disc.

Scoring: Your disc golf score will be submitted to the PDGA.

Your tournament score will be calculated using the same style of scoring used in cross country and other team running events.

Your score will be:
Disc Golf Score: Your place you finish will be your score. If you finish 32nd overall in the rounds, you will receive 32 points. If you win, you will receive 1 point.

Longest Drive: the longest drive will be a separate throw, not on a hole for the course.
So, accuracy will not be important. Grip and rip! You get three attempts, twice.
Your longest throw will be the one determining your place. Your place you finish will be your score. If you finish 12th, you will receive 12 points.

Longest Putt: Longest putt will be determined on a separate basket. You get three attempts at each distance. If you make it, you move back five feet and continue until you miss three times at a distance. Your place you finish will be your score. You finish 19th, you will receive 19 points.

Winners from each division will be determined based on lowest score.

Prizes awarded for:
1. Winning the round of golf for your division
2. Longest drive for your division
3. Longest putt for your division
4. lowest score overall for your division

So, four prizes for each division, 24 prizes total.
