Headless Horseman Open 2023

About this tournament
This will be a doubles tournament with tricks and treats on each hole. One round at Stonykill.
Last year we had 4 teams of juniors with adults. Would love to see more this year!
This is again a FUNdraiser for OK Disc Golf Course EDIT: funds will go toward Stonykill Course fund as Mother Nature played some tricks on the course! and of course we'll have a treats sale and additional events to continue the fun before and after the round. Very similar to last year but of course there could be more tricks (and treats, of course).
First, costumes are mandatory because that's part of the fun! And for goodness sake dressing up as a disc golf player is lame but acceptable so don't let the costume thing put you off. Plus there will be prizes for costumes. So be creative! Make us laugh! Have fun!
Secondly, this one round best throw doubles event will feature tricks and treats on each
hole (so not PDGA round rated but it will make some throws and throws easier and some more difficult.). Winners receive trophies only.
Thirdly, even though it’s only one round, there will be additional contests for fun and prizes. The additional contests will also be family and new player friendly. This is an opportunity to grow the sport. Bring a new player or two.
Lastly, an optional buy-in glow round will be held after the event if there is enough interest.
If you don't want to play but want to contribute towards the cause, register for the "DON" division and click an amount under the donation box.
Check in begins at 11:30am with a 1:30pm start of the first round. Tricks and treats will be set up ahead so you can test out some options. Come early we'll also have treats for sale and extras events will be open ahead. Complete details will be sent out to participants prior to the event.
