Anyway i can move from ma2 to ma3? Original partner had to drop out and i have a newby thats been playing just over a year

Ma3 is on a waitlist. You could sign up for it. But if your a MA2 player you would need to play ma2 either way.

Honestly Joe I'm not sure really. This is the first time on this format for us. You could hit MA2 and make it and sign up for the wait list for MA3 if you like.

How will proper division selection be enforced? Especially with groups where only one partner or neither have ratings?

This is always a question and really one without a great answer. I can just repeat that golf is a game of honor. There is no honor in competing in a division you don't belong in. Will it still happen, yes. The thing is there is no way to stop this problem even in a sanctioned event. There is always a way around it. Players need to put themselves in the correct division.

when in doubt, sand bag. everyone else is. that's if winning is important. if not, move up and who knows, you may surprise yourself. fun should be your goal. game of honor is an ok motto, but we know how some folks are.. self honor is more important.

Thank you Jeremy and Hazy Shade! For one reason or another I haven't been able to play the Hazy BYOP in about 10 years and looking forward to being able to playing in it this year!

New to all this so what are flex starts? My partner will be in school by the time that Friday rolls around unless it would take place after he gets out.

Mike Flex starts are a separate optional event. We will have all the courses open for free play or tournament play. It's called flex start because it has a flexible start time. Show up between the hours of x and y and play. We record your score pay out top 40-50% we will offer singles and doubles for this.

It says " all pools will be capped at 90 teams with no caps in the pools" , just confused on if it's capped or not? Also is there no pre registration for ddg members for this event? Thanks in advance.

There will be no pre-registration for DDG members, we will only be pre-registering the TDs for the courses.

Okay we are about 1 week away from signups opening for the BYOP. Here is some new details
You asked we listen. Pro players we are adding $2000.00 to the pro purse!! We have also reserved your your own pool so get your teams together and lets see this pool filled.
Here is the Pools and courses each Pool will play. All pools will be capped at 90 teams with no caps in the pools so dont wait mark your calendars for this Sunday at 8pm
