About this tournament
HALIBURTON HOUSE HUCK
Two round PDGA Sanctioned C-tier.
All amateur players will receive a premium plastic disc in the players packs and merch-outs will be provided to the top 45% of finishers in any given division.
The course layout will be a custom 18 hole layout using some regular holes with lots of new holes. The layout is still in works but once a general idea is known a map will be posted followed by a caddy book closer to the event.
The event will kick off with the first tee time at 8:00am and follow in 8 minute increments after that. Tee times for round 2 will begin at 12:30pm (depending on registration numbers) with the same increment. Cards will be reseeded between rounds based on finishing place.
UPDATE #1 MARCH 8, 2023
We are one month away! We have also confirmed our first Sponsor!
Crawford's Custom Water Conditioning has jumped on board to support the event!
We will now have an Outhouse on the property and $300 added cash!
Layout is almost finalized! Stay Tuned!
UPDATE #2
We want to thank Schoolhouse Brewery to joining our event as a sponsor! They have stepped up and offered to cover the outhouse rental and are sponsoring one of our holes! If you are in area before the event or on the day of stop by, have a beer and some food and thank them for their support! I had the privilege to sit down with the owner Cam for lunch one day and heard about the history of Schoolhouse. They are a great place with great food and beverage!
The course layout was tested and a tentative map is in UDISC (HH2023). Hole 4 will be changed on the final map so ignore that one and maybe some small flow changes as well.
56 players and growing! Hopefully this white stuff on the ground can melt away before April 8th!
UPDATE #3
Several announcements to make in this update!
1) Course Notes:
The map has been finalized and a link to a google drive has been posted to the comments as well as a Picture added the Pictures section. UDISC is updated and the layout is there either under "HH2023 (Tentative)" or HHH2023 (depends on when udisc updates the name) Detailed Caddy book is in the works and will be uploaded to the google drive once complete (target date of April 1st/2nd)
2) Sponsorship News:
A quick thank you to OK Tire (Windsor) and Speedy Glass (New Minas) for donating some prize items from their locations. These will be used for raffles/mini games or hot score prizes during the event.
Ben Smith (Flickline) has graciously offered his tournament supplies (tent, ropes, banners, etc.) To help with the setup of the event! Where this is my first event this is a huge help so I will have minimal supplies to be purchased to help get the course ready!
Diameter Apparel has given a great deal to help with AM prize winners. We are now able to give the winning player of each AM division a voucher to get their own Jersey!
The two options are linked below and photos posted to the picture section above.

If neither of the Jerseys are to the liking of the winner they can use the voucher for $55 credit towards another piece of apparel with Diameter.
NEW SUPPORTING SPONSOR!
Kris Moulton contacted me after I reached out to him and blew me away with his generosity! Chain Reaction Disc Golf Supply has sponsored many local events and helped grow the sport in our area unlike any other! They have jumped in as a supporting sponsor and are providing cash to help with the PRO and AM payouts
Chain Reaction and Crawford's Custom Water being helping out at the SUPPORTING SPONSOR Level it what is making it possible to have a total of $750+ Added Cash for the pro side and have the Jerseys and Added Merchouts on the Am side.
