Gun Lake Winterfest Birdie Bash

This will be the first Annual Gun Lake Winterfest Birdie Bash, hosted by HomeTeam DG. The course will be set up at the Yankee Springs state park with all metal portable baskets. If there is enough to ice the plan is to start from land and play some holes out onto the ice, if there is no ice we have a back-up all land location to set up the course. This year it will be a 9 hole course that we will play two rounds on. I'd love to do an 18 but it's Valentine's Day so this will get everyone back to their valentines at a decent time. Birdie Bash points format is 3 points for a hole in one and 1 point for a Birdie 2. Highest point total wins, payouts to top 5 scores. Registration includes a disc of your choice from the molds we have at the registration table. There will be plenty of prizes for CTPs and Long Putts and probably even a worst shot as well. We are hoping for a good turnout here so that it can become part of the Winterfest schedule and grow even bigger and better each year, maybe it will even help convince the state park that a want for a permanent course there. Hope to see everyone out there Valentines morning for some good fun! All the other Winterfest activities and vendors will also be going on all day to so there's plenty to do out there for everyone!
