Groundhog Day Open - made possible by the MCDGC

Welcome to a 1 round, 27 hole, PDGA C-Tier tournament featuring ALL 27 holes of Mercer Count Park Disc Golf Course greatness. The layout will be a fun mix. This event is intended as a fundraiser for the MCDGC to be able to build more tee pads, and in fact rebuild some tee pads in 2025. No player packs.

Expenses are as follows: $3 to PDGA, $12 up front event donation for club, $15 per player for payouts, and for that we will pay 40% of pros and 45% of ams, per division.

In the event of a play off for first place, and in the spirit of the day, the play off will be hole 1, repeat hole 1, until a winner is declared.

As this is a fundraiser we will enforce PDGA Competition Manual policy 1.03.F no refunds in the last 48 hours before the event.

Pertaining to Competition Manual 5.03.G regarding bathrooms. There is a bathroom open year round 'across the street' from the course parking lot. It is an 8 minute walk or a 2 minute drive, if needed. It is the same distance as the farthest tee pad on the course is
