Grandview Open sponsored by Dynamic Discs
About this tournament
Grandview Open
2 rounds of 18 holes with 1 hour lunch break
Novice / Recreational / Junior: All players will receive a players pack and will not be competing for prizes.
Advanced / Intermediate / AM40+ and other AM age protected divisions: Play for prize money credit based on Placement
(Pay down %50 of field)
Pro field will be paid out to 40%
Trees of Peace Disc Golf Payout Information:
100% payout minus PDGA and park fees. A portion of the proceeds goes back to planting trees on disc golf courses.
Inventory: I have a good inventory of discs and accessories. I have Discraft, Innova, Prodigy, Dynamic Discs, Prodigy, Discmania, and Gateway.
The last round is expected to end at 5pm. At 5pm prizes and trophies will be awarded. This is an estimate as weather and speed of play change.
All division winners receive a handmade custom trophy. The division needs to have at least 2 people in the division for a trophy. I usually make trophies a couple of days before the event so if a division fills last minute I will not have time to make a trophy.
Ace Pool: Everyone is automatically entered into the ace pool ($1 per player). If there is no ace we will throw off for the ace money.
ToP Disc Golf follows PDGA guidelines for refunds.
We will do live scoring. Starting hole #s will be on the pdga website before the event begins. Instead of a formal player's meeting, there will be an informational handout with tournament info. I will be available for questions. You can just go right to your hole after check-in and wait for a two-minute warning and then shotgun start.
Online Scoring:
All official scores will be done through PDGA Digital Scoreboard. If you need an overview, you can read at http://bit.do/pdgascoring and when it’s time to go, simply go to www.pdga.com/score to get started.
These scores will be official and authoritative. That is, if you confirm an incorrect score, that is the same as turning in an incorrect physical scorecard and you would be penalized. Tips that I’ve learned in using this for previous tournaments are to sign out and sign back in if you are having issues loading anything, especially between rounds. And don’t forget to click confirm on your round at the end - simply entering the scores of the last hole is not enough.
