The "Beat the Pros" qualifier rounds give players the chance to play on camera in Go Throw's “Beat the Pros” series as part of the Go Throw Tour stop at Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort on Fri May 23 - Sun May 25. Will YOU be the one to shoot the hot round on Kayak Point's Red Course against 4 touring pros and become the ultimate disc golf Cinderella story?
The "Beat the Pros" Event consists of:
1) A series of qualifier rounds between May 14th - May 21st to see who can post the top 20 scores on the Red Course
2) A Birdie or Die playoff starting on Hole 2 of the Red Course consisting of the players who posted those top 20 scores on Thurs, May 22nd
3) The 4 players who advance from the Birdie or Die playoff have the opportunity to compete against 4 touring pros in a single round of 18 on the Red Course on Fri May 23rd. This will kick off the 3-day Go Throw Tour Kayak Point Showdown weekend with spectators and a film crew.
If any of the 4 players from the 999 & below division can post the hot round and beat the 4 touring pros, they win $10,000 cash! If the single player who advanced from the 1000+ division beats all 4 pros, they win $1,000.

HOW TO SIGN UP...
Players sign up through discgolfscene.com to play in a qualifier round on the Red Course, choosing their tee time from the available options while registering. All cards must consist of 3-4 players to play the round. Players should group themselves with other players at the available tee times to create cards of 3-4 players. Player tee times will be adjusted if they do not have a minimum of 3 players on the card, so get your buddies to sign up with you and double check tee times the day of the event. Players may re-buy qualifier rounds as many times as they would like across the series to post their best score possible. Players are also permitted to play multiple qualifier rounds in a single day if they choose.

QUALIFIER ROUNDS SCHEDULE:
Qualifier rounds will be available on the following dates, every 10 minutes between the following time ranges; 10 - 10:20am, 1 - 1:20pm, 4 - 4:20pm. Each day is set up as a separate event on discgolfscene.com. Registration through discgolfscene.com is required.

DIVISIONS:
999 division (PDGA rating 999 or below) - This division is meant for all players, regardless of amateur or professional status with a PDGA rating of 999 or below.
1000 division (PDGA rating 1000 or higher) - This division is meant for all players with a PDGA player rating of 1000 or higher.

PLAYER CHECK-IN:
Player’s must check-in inside the Pro Shop at least 15-minutes prior to their qualifier round tee time. Players should also strive to be at hole 1 a minimum of 5 minutes before their tee time to make sure UDisc scoring is properly set up.

SCORING:
Scoring will be handled using the UDisc League feature. All players must check-in to the UDisc League to add themselves to the player roster. Once all players on a card have "checked-in", they can be added to a card for scoring. At least 1 player per card should enter scores in the UDisc League. A second player should also complete a back-up scorecard, either digital or paper, just in case. This will allow scores to be easily tracked and visible so players can see where they stand.

PLAYING ADDITIONAL QUALIFIER ROUNDS:

PLAY ADDITIONAL NON-QUALIFIER ROUNDS:
All players who enter will receive a complimentary Day Pass for the same day as their qualifier round(s), so they can play additional rounds on any of our courses before or after their qualifier round(s). Tee times for non-qualifier rounds should still be booked through our website at discgolfresort.com.

STANDINGS:
We will share current standings for the top 20 scores through our social media channels and it will be posted in the pro shop so you can check your status after each day's qualifier rounds.

FOOD & DRINK:
Outside alcohol and food are prohibited on the property due to our licenses for the restaurant and on-site drinks. Aces BBQ is open from 11am - 4pm Fri, Sat, and Sun. The Pro Shop also has pre-made sandwiches from Aces BBQ, as well as snacks and drinks including non-alcoholic and alcoholic options.

Refund policy
Disc Golf Resort LLC is responsible for all refunds/cancellations for qualifier rounds. All refund requests must be officially submitted through discgolfscene.com. 100% refund will be available until 7am on the morning of the qualifier round (minus processing fees). If a refund request is submitted after 7am on the morning of the qualifier round, an 80% refund will be provided. If you're unable to complete your round due to an inability to meet the minimum of players on a tee time of 3, your entry fee will be pushed to a future qualifier round tee time.
