To celebrate an incredible year of partnership, Gander Disc Golf and the Edmonton Disc Golf Association are challenging the community to a single round of doubles with tons of prizes to be won!
You do not need to be an EDGA member to register for this event.
Try your luck at taking down the all-star team of EDGA's Tim Plamondon and Gander Disc Golf's Calvin de Haan. This event is for everyone and all skill types: everyone who plays will automatically earn a draw for prizes and everyone who takes them down will earn a second draw!
Will Tim throw a Firebird? Will Calvin make a putt? Do you have what it takes to best this dream team?
Here’s the details:
WHEN: Saturday September 23rd, 2023 - 9:00 AM shotgun start.
WHERE: Hermitage Park Disc Golf Course, Edmonton, Alberta.
WHO: You and a partner of your choice vs Calvin de Haan of Gander Disc Golf and EDGA President Tim Plamondon.
WHAT: Single round best shot doubles!
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 per individual. 50% of your entry fee will go towards prizes, and 50% will be donated to EDGA to continue funding the disc golf infrastructure in our city.
REGISTRATION: Opens Tuesday September 12th, 2023 at 8:00 pm and closes September 22nd, 2023 at 8:00 pm on DiscGolfScene.com
CHECK IN: Player check in will be at the Hermitage Park practice basket at 8:00 am.
PLAYERS MEETING: The players meeting will be at the Hermitage Park practice basket at 8:30 am.
PLAYER POOLS/DIVISIONS: There will only be one player pool - You versus us.
ACE POT: During registration there will be a $5.00 ace pot option that you can select. If an ace isn't hit during the round, 50% of the ace pot will go to EDGA as a donation and 50% will be paid out to the winner of a CTP on a predetermined hole.
PRIZE DRAWS: All prize draws will happen immediately after the event is finished at the Hermitage Park practice basket. All participants who register will be automatically entered into the prize draw, with additional entries being given for beating Tim and Calvin, plus more! less
