There is added $250.00 cash for the professional division that will be split throughout the pro fields on day 2. There will also be a basket Raffle. .

This is the GRDoD Feature Event for 2022. Berths to the Discraft Michigan State Championships will be competed for through 2 rounds of 18 on the Championship Course throughout the day.

No cashless pre-reg. . Cash registrants are time stamped similar to electronic forms of payment. This is a qualifier for the national competition for the AM1 championships in 2022. The Discraft Michigan State Championships berths will be allotted up to 20 divisions of all being offered for the tournament September 1,2, with participation in each division being considered while dividing the 20. There is guaranteed a Berth for the largest women's division.

To help address the sandbagging issues at the Michigan State Championships;
a. For the Am2/Am3 (including the women) divisions in Featured Events, if there is a player that takes 1st or 2nd place and that player has never had a PDGA membership the Featured Event will deduct from that player’s payouts $35 to cover the cost of buying them a PDGA membership.
b. The remaining $10 was initially paid by the player at entry.
c. The last missing $5 is because the MDGO is an Affiliate Club.
d. Non-current PDGA members do not apply.

This was passed to address the issue of players not having player ratings. Even if they are not current, the TD does get a file from the PDGA that includes the player's rating.

Registration on site will have a $5 day of fee.

We will be giving away a brand new Basket to one lucky winner.

Payouts:

All amateur payouts will be provided vouchers to Disc Baron. With this event being a part of the MDGO Feature Event Series, all payout items must be redeemed on ONLY DISCRAFT products. Winners will have until 9/26/22 to redeem their coupons. Coupons must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.

Due to the large amount of drops last year, there will be a $5 fee for all refunds up to $10 that is allowed.

Refunds are available until the tournament reaches full capacity and is within one week of the event. After which, if the vacated spot does not fill, 50% of the entry fee will be forfeit.

Refunds requested within 24 hours of the event starting are subject to 50% of the entry fee being forfeited if the vacant spot can be filled. Otherwise, 100% of the entry fee is forfeit if the spot does not fill. Players forfeiting their entire entry fee are entitled to their player's package but must request package and provide address for it to be shipped to. Players have up to a week after the event to request their player's package, otherwise the player's package becomes forfeit.

Ace Pool, 50/50, and PDGA non-member fees will be refunded, regardless of timing of refund request, unless player "No shows".

A "No show" is someone that does not inform the tournament that they will not be coming by the first-round tee. "No shows" forfeit all monies but can claim their player's package. They must request package and provide shipping information. Players have up to a week after the event to request their player's package, otherwise the player's package becomes forfeit.

It is not the tournament or tournament staff's responsibility to communicate or get players their refunds or player's packages unless they are requested by the player and the necessary address and/or PayPal address is given.
