About GIGOGR,
An event with one simple goal: Get In, Get Out, Get Rated.
GIGOGR focuses on growing the sport for everyone and having fun. The intent is to encourage every person, of any age or skill level that has not yet been rated to get rated.
This event is priced accordingly to cover permits and PDGA fees. Any remaining fees after covering our expenses will be donated to the Salt Spring Disc Golf Club for further promotion of the sport on island, and to assist with course improvements.
About the Fee Structure
$5.00 fee covers permits and PDGA sanctioning fee.
$15.00 green fees for SSI Golf and Country Club dues for non-pass holders.
Green Fees Exempt for Passholders (proof required).
Extra fees: if you want to get rated at this event you must have a valid 2022 PDGA membership You can pay a $10 PDGA fee to play, but your rating will not be valid until you join the PDGA.

Example 1: Paige has a 2022 PDGA membership, she is a SSGCC pass-holder and just wants to get her rating updated. Paige pays $5.00.
Example 2: Simon has a 2022 PDGA membership, he is a NOT a Golf course pass-holder (green fee) and just wants to get his rating updated. Simon pays $20.00.
Example 3: Lee does not have a 2022 PDGA membership, they are NOT a Golf course pass-holder (green fee) and just wants to play this tournament round. Lee pays $30.00.
Early-bird registration will be given to Women’s and Junior Divisions on February 7th
All other players can sign up on February 14th - - 6:00 pm
Divisional caps will be held until February 21 at 11:00 am, following which the waitlisted players will be added to their chosen divisions.

This is a one-day, two-round shotgun start event on the regular Winter Layout. Each round will be played with card mates in the same division, with a short lunch break between rounds.

A players meeting, course layout, and info about tee times and live scoring will be emailed to the email you used to register prior to the event.
For Golf course non-pass holders ($15 green fee), please pay the TD the day of and before you go to your round 1 starting hole (cash only). The TD will have a table set-up near hole 1.
Options to consider: please check-in at the TD table (to pay your green fee) or simply show up at your assigned hole at the assigned time. There will not be an in-person players meeting or awards ceremony.

SSI Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Tournament withdrawals with less than 48 hours notice will not be issued a refund. Refunds prior to this will be allowed less applicable fees.
