About this tournament
GCDGA presents An Idlewild Winter Welcome - one round of 24 holes in the shorts at iconic Idlewild Disc Golf Course in Burlington, KY! What better way to celebrate the beginning of winter and our shortest day of the year with a free-to-play Pro-Am available exclusively to members of the Greater Cincinnati Disc Golf Association? The 2024 GCDGA passcode will grant you entry into this tournament. If there is space available, we will allow 2025 members to register later.
The tournament is free for all club members. The club will contribute $10 per player either in added cash for pro payouts or for added merch in amateur payouts. So as example, if 70 amateurs and 20 pros sign up, that's a $700 merch payout and a $200 added cash payout - at no cost to our members. If you are not a club member for either 2024, you will NOT be permitted to play the tournament.
We will pay out to the top 50% in pros and ams. Most importantly, we want to do something fun for you, our club members, who have supported us financially and with your time and services for decades. Come out, have a fun free round with your fellow club members, get to know some of your club officers a little better, and even use it as an opportunity to give us some ideas and feedback for other things you'd like to see the club try to do. We are thankful for your support and we want to continue to support you and the community.
