About this tournament
Ever heard of a Discathalon? Neither have we, let's make one up.
This will be an event that consists of 10 Disc Golf contests, the first 9 being mini games and the tenth being a traditional round of disc golf. There will be points awarded for each game and the the top 3 players (accumulated points) will win cash prizes. Mostly we just want to have fun, support Matty Boh with Off Course, and donate some money to a cool cause and the park we love.
Your Players pack includes the following!
•$20 shopping credit to Off Course Disc Golf for Plastic (Mobile Store on Site day of)
•$2 entry into the Ace Pot
•Custom Branded Whale Sac (Full Send & Off Course)
•$5 Donation to Camp New Dawn (Grief Camp)
•remaining funds will go to snacks and water the day of, prize money & course improvement fund!
The list of Field Events! (Points to be calculated against other players on your card)
1.) Closest to the Pin - Pts awarded closest to furthest
2.) Drain-O Challenge - Silly Obstructed Putting at varying distances. Pts for each make.
3.) Ace Island - 150Ft throw at cluster of baskets, Pts for each make.
4.) Full Sendy's - Longest Drive with a Mini, no rollers.
5.) Around the Band - LIke around the world in basketball. Pts for consecutive makes
6.) OFD! Off Hand Distance Challenge. 3 Attempts, must land in designated lanes.
7.) Obscure Putts only - 3 Attemps at varying distances, Turbo, Scoober, Basketball
8.) Over the top - CTP challenge throwing over the baseball backstop
9.) Off Course Throw in - Heavily wooded basket, Throws from C1Edge & beyond.
10.) Regular round of 18 holes.
