Seeing a minimum of 6 people in MA3 that should be at least playing MA2 & 3-4 in MA2 that should be playing MA1…. Yikes ???? ????????‍♂️????

I’m out. I have the Covid. Keep my funds for the benefit of NEO disc golf community.

Sorry to hear it brother. Thanks for the donation to the club. Get well soon!

Jay Asefi    January 1, 2022 at 3:03am

So hole #2 is being played from the long tee pad?

Ohhh okay I always thought the short tee was the painted asphalt & the tee pad was the king & the one in the way back was an old tee pad since there’s no sign anymore

Cory King   January 1, 2022 at 5:11pm

Jay the asphalt is the short pad with the next one being the original long tee. The longest pad was added a few years ago.

Jay Asefi   January 1, 2022 at 5:27pm

Ahh I see

Sam Court    December 30, 2021 at 9:40pm

Is there going to be a pot luck style lunch like years past? Just curious so I can plan accordingly. I haven’t seen anything about it anywhere but that doesn’t mean I didn’t miss it.

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 9:50pm

Unfortunately not. With Covid precautions it was omitted again this year.

Kevin Kovach    December 30, 2021 at 3:36pm

If any spots open up I would be interested in playing as well. Let me know. Thanks.

Or, MA40 I suppose. I dunno the difference?

Kevin Kovach   December 30, 2021 at 4:16pm

I am 40+

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 4:29pm

I can put you in either of those. Message me your PDGA #, email address and division selection. Then paypal [email redacted] $20 +optional $2 Ace Pot and I'll get you in.

James Kutrubs    December 30, 2021 at 3:11pm

Hi Michael, any thoughts for an MA50 division in this series? There's probably enough of us in the MA40 in this tournament alone to make one.

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 4:10pm

A little late to form another division at this point. I have already printed all of the cards and set the leaderboard for the weekend. All Masters divisions combine into one for points in this series anyways with points benefiting the higher divisions.

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 4:30pm

Anyone else in MA40 want to move to MA50?

James Kutrubs   December 30, 2021 at 9:10pm

OK, if it's too late. Thanks for responding, Michael. See you this weekend.

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 2:59pm

Got you in brother, see you Sunday!

kevin whitlock    December 30, 2021 at 1:00am

Glad I made it in so that now that I am Covid positive I can bow out. Sorry

Sorry to hear it brother, I’ll issue your refund now. Get well soon.

Michael Knepp    December 29, 2021 at 3:04pm

The layout will be all short pads for all divisions both rounds with 3 temp holes after 5. With the rain Saturday and the freezing temperatures overnight we will have to salt the tee pads for safety. We will be salting 21 tee pads, not 42.
Thanks to Jay Asefi for the donation of 15 bags of salt for the Frozen Fingers series! We will be out on the course Saturday salting tee pads if anyone is willing to come out and help.

Frozen fingers here we come!

Michael Knepp   December 31, 2021 at 2:58am

LET’S GO!!!

Sam Court    December 29, 2021 at 2:01pm

Heading over today for a practice round. What layouts are we playing? The event is only a few days away now so I would hope that’s been figured out.

Michael Knepp   December 29, 2021 at 2:45pm

More than likely all shorts with 3 temp holes after 5 (see photos in about tab). With the freeze overnight Saturday night I can’t commit to salting 42 pads.

Sam Court   December 29, 2021 at 2:48pm

Awesome. Thanks for the reply man. See you Sunday!

Michael Knepp   December 29, 2021 at 3:06pm

No problem brother, see you Sunday! Have a great practice round! I would join you but I got the Covid booster and a flu shot yesterday so I am feeling the effects!

Michael Knepp    December 28, 2021 at 3:59pm

With Covid rearing it's ugly head as of late we will be implementing the same Covid precautions as we had in the 2021 Frozen Fingers Series. Mask mandate at Tournament Central and we will keep the same cards for both rounds (no shuffle) to limit contact between competitors. If you are sick or may have been in close contact with someone who is sick or has tested positive for Covid please let me know ASAP so that we can remove you from the event. Some of you may not like these Covid precau ... more

Michael Knepp    December 27, 2021 at 4:37pm

I have added photos of the Temp hole layout (see about tab). We will have 3 temp holes added for this event which will play after hole #5. You will throw hole 5 then A, B and C before heading over to hole 6. We will have these all marked by the end of the week for practice but the temp baskets will not be in place until the morning of the event. The distances are estimated at this time but I will have accurate measurements done by the end of the week.

Adam Szweda    December 26, 2021 at 2:23pm

What position will the pins be in are they marked? Short and long mix or short position?

Michael Knepp   December 26, 2021 at 2:59pm

Depends on the weather... I am waiting to see what the weather will look like before posting layouts. Might be a round from both layouts but it will be tough to get 42 holes in by 5pm with 90+ disc golfers out there. Stay tuned, I'll be announcing layouts ASAP.

Michael Knepp   December 30, 2021 at 3:03pm

Shorts for all divisions on Sunday for both rounds.

Michael Knepp    December 26, 2021 at 3:34am

We are a week out from the event with a full field of 84 plus 18 on the waitlist. I will try to get as many people in as possible. If you are unable to attend please let me know asap so we can adjust the waitlist. Stay tuned for layout announcements and further info coming soon.
